Holiday cottage in Montaren-et-St-Mediers. The accommodation is all on the ground floor and consists of a main house which has 3 bedrooms and a separate studio that sleeps 2+.
This house also makes a Cosy Haven in winter with central heating + fire place in the lounge. Central Heating - House only. The studio is usually only available until the end of September as it does not have central heating connected. If the weather is warm in October it will be available. There is an electric radiator if needed and it is ideal for grannies, nannies, friends or family who need a little space.
Although the seating in the lounge and kitchen states 6, there are plenty of chairs and tables that may be added if needed. Outside there is plenty of space on the terrace and in the garden for up to 10 people or more.

The studio sleeps 2/4 adults. There is a foldaway cot - Babies up to 2 /3 and a extra futon for older children up to 10/11. The sofa in the salon is a long sofa bed -- for one person. We recommend no more than 8 or maximum 10 including children for your own comfort. Shower and WC in the studio.

Lots of space in the garden and on the terrace for sitting - 10 garden chairs available. Mature trees in the garden provide shade.
Gorgeous outdoor swimming pool - private. 8m x 4m.
Covered terrace outside the cottage with an outdoor electric and charcoal grills, parking, barbecue, garden, 10 garden chairs. Exterior lights.
La Bergerie is a renovated Sheep Fold with mostly walled garden and shady tall trees surrounding the property - a private place - that stays cool during the hot Summer months.
NON SWIMMERS: Children - and especially toddlers and children under 10 years of age who are not strong swimmers - must be supervised and accompanied by a strong swimmer at all times around the pool. There is a pool alarm but the pool is not fenced.
The use of the house, pool, terrace, garden and studio are private to the renters for the duration of their rental.
The cottage is up a little lane in a rural area but there are neighbours around. The pool is not overlooked however and the garden is completely enclosed.
The Languedoc-Roussillon region
The little hamlet of St Mediers next to Montaren is a short drive from Uzes; about 10 minutes by car.
Nearest Golf : Uzes at 4 Kilometres
Nearest Restaurant : 5 mins local + many in Uzes at 5 Kilometres
St Mediers is a little Hamlet close to the beautiful town of Uzes - the smallest complete town in France - with all its Roman history and wonderful architecture, festivals and quiet walks down by the river. Nimes and Avingnon are but a short drive away. Montaren-et-St-Mediers is en route to Ale's and Andouze --the Gateway to the Cevenne hills.
If you're not into walking, transport is necessary - if only a bike to cycle down to the village to buy bread or a newspaper.
At the large supermarket at Montaren you may buy groceries, household goods, clothes and petrol. There is also a pharmacy.
