About the home

Les Rives du Sanctuaire is located on the stunning Clublink Le Maitre golfcourse and just a two minute walk from the beach on Le Diable river. Within five minutes drive of 5 premium golf courses and just a short, free ski shuttle ride from the slopes at Tremblant, our house is ideally located to make the most of all that this year round destination has to offer.

In winter, enjoy tobogganing or sleigh rides around Le Maitre or explore the on site snow shoeing and cross country ski trails.

In summer explore the hundreds of kilometres of bike and hiking trails that are available right outside the door, fish or canoe the many lakes and rivers, take the opportunity to spot some of the local wildlife or simply sit back and relax in the beautiful surroundings.

Spread over three floors, the house provides flexible accommodation, comprising of 4 bedrooms( 1 King, 1 Double and 2 Twins), 3 bathrooms, large sitting and dining room , den with queen sofa bed, well equipped kitchen, laundry room with washing machine and dryer, as well as a private balcony with gas BBQ. Views overlooking the 5th Fairway.

For your comfort we provide air conditioning for the warmer summer months and individually controlled electric heating as well as an open log fire for the winter.

For your entertainment we have supplied a Flat Screen TV, DVD player and CD Stereo in the Sitting Room, TV and DVD player in the Den and a flat screen TV in the Master Bedroom all of which receive Cable TV.

High speed wireless internet provided.

To help out those travelling with smaller children we have provided a travel cot, booster/highchair, microwave steriliser and a child friendly balcony.

Access to the club house with swimming pool and hot tub, tennis courts and private beach along the Diable river is available for a small charge, payable locally ( included for Clublink members).

At least one member of the rental party must be 25 years or over.

The Quebec Province region

Nestled in a landscape of lakes, rivers and mountains, the picturesque town of Mont Tremblant is just a 90 minute drive north of cosmopolitan Montreal in the province of Quebec.

Montreal is a fascinating mix of old and new, where the quaint cobbled streets of the old town with its French charm mingle happily with the sophistication of downtown Montreal and its fabulous network of underground shopping malls, eateries and nightlife.

Quebec City is North America's only walled city and a UNESCO World Heritage site and lies just 4 hours drive from Mont Tremblant.

Ottawa, Canada's capital, lies just over 2 hours away in the province of Ontario, and is home to the country's parliament and National Gallery.

English is widely spoken and understood, however the region's official language is French, giving Quebec a unique identity and charm.

Quebec's climate, with dry, cold winters and warm, lazy summers makes Mont Tremblant a truly year round destination.

In the winter, from late November to late April (and sometimes even into May ), the Laurentians become blanketed with snow and Tremblant truly shines as the premiere ski resort in eastern North America.

In the summer, the Mont Tremblant National Park is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise of walking and mountain biking trails, whilst in the Fall the Laurentians are renowned for their brilliant display of autumn foliage which Tremblant celebrates with it's annual " Symphony of Colours".

Mont Tremblant downtown( also known as St Jovite) is the closest to our house, only five minutes drive. Here you will find restaurants, boutiques, antique shops, supermarkets, banks and most other services you might need.

This magnificent region, rich in natural attractions, is a true paradise for nature-lovers and enthusiasts of outdoor activity or inactivity.

Summer fills the mountain and resort with those interested in mountain biking, hiking, fishing, golfing on world class courses, canoeing and kayaking, as well as those that simply want to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery whilst taking advantage of the many restaurants and pavement cafes.

In the fall during Tremblant's "Symphony of Colours" visitors are invited to take the gondola up the mountain and enjoy the spectacular natural canvas from above.

In winter, the 94 ski runs over three separate areas combine to make Tremblant resort into what has been voted North Americas No1 ski resort for 10 years running. Skiing is also available on the smaller family run Mont Blanc slopes just 10km away and a forty five minute drive takes you to St Sauveur, home to the largest night skiing area in the world.There is also the chance to go ice climbing, dogsledding, snowmobiling, tubesliding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or ice fishing.

Montreal is only 6 ½ hours from London with flights available from British Airways, Air Canada, Thomas Cook and Air Transat.

Flights are also available from many European and US cities.

The easiest way to get from Montreal to Mont Tremblant is to drive in about 1 ½ hours.

Most major car hire companies are available at Montreal airport.

“Wonderful holiday home” Fantastic town house on golf course, beautifully furnished and decorated. Immaculate property! Really enjoyed the jacuzzi bath after skiing. Kids loved the den and had basement floor to themselves! Owner extremely helpful with pre-trip advice and help. Can't wait to go back! Ski shuttle service picked up from right outside the door. Golf course properties beautifully decorated for Christmas...

“Beyond excellence” What a fantastic house! Stayed with a group of 5 adults + 3 teenagers for a week. This beautiful lodge-style home has absolutely everything you could need and is nestled amongst a small enclave of equally beautiful houses in this exclusive club, close to the Mont Tremblant resort. A car is a must but once you have your wheels you are only minutes to fantastic adventures, walks, golfing, shopping etc. You name it (if its outdoors) ... you can pretty much do it in this area. Great, personal service from the owner, Nick, who was available for advice and to answer any query. Already looking forward to our next trip!

We accept payment by cheque (British and Canadian), bank transfer (British or Canadian) and by Paypal. If you choose to pay by Paypal an additional charge of 3.5% will be added to your rental charges.
