The Quebec Province region

Tremblant is a holiday paradise set in the Laurentian landscape of mountains, lakes, rivers, and forests. Tremblant has a history of reliable snow from November through to April, providing a winter wonderland for skiing and numerous other winter activities. Summers are reliably warm - perfect for golfing at one of the 6 nearby world class courses, or for enjoying the many sports and leisure activities that are easily accessible from the house.
The Tremblant experience encompases the “Resort” village at the base of the mountain, the “Old” village, and the town of St Jovite.
The Mont Tremblant area
Our house is strategically situated between "Old" Tremblant to the west and the Tremblant "Resort" village at the base of the south side of the mountain to the east, both being within a couple of minutes reach. The house also has direct access to the multifunctional trail which links both villages and connects into the network of hiking, biking and cross country ski trails that permeate the Tremblant area. There is also a shuttle bus service that passes close to the house serving the whole area and connecting with the “Cabriolet" lift at the foot of the south side of the mountain.
THE MOUNTAIN - Mont Tremblant dominates its surrounding region and provides its visitors with breathtaking views. This is a hulk of a mountain with skiing on four faces. The “North side” , the “Edge”, the “South side” , and the “Versant Soleil”. The house is just 3 minutes from the "Cabriolet" lift at the base of the mountain from where you can gain access to the whole moutain. It is easy for skiers to follow the sun by skiing the North side in the morning and the South in the afternoon. There are ski runs for all abilities, and there is a world renowed ski school for beginners or those wanting to brush up on thier skills. There is plenty of snow making to help start and finish off the season. In the summer the mountain hosts a multitude of activities and is criss-crossed with hiking and biking trails.
RESORT VILLAGE - Situated at the foot of the South side of the mountain and on the shores of Lake Tremblant the resort village of Tremblant is just a couple of minutes from the house. The quaint and cosy atmosphere of Tremblant can be attributed to the sympathetic Quebec style tourist village at the centre of all activities. All the amenities are there; the ski centre, bars, restaurants, boutiques, galleries, a cinema, and a great apres ski and nightlife. Follow the cobble stone streets, and feel free to stop at the public square where the chances are there will be a festival or concert in progress. This village exudes Quebec charm !
OLD VILLAGE - A short distance away to the west on the shores of lake Mercier is the old village of Tremblant. It has an excellent selection of restaurants, general stores, a gas station, post office, and an excellent ski equipment and bike hire shop located just accross the road from the house.
St JOVITE - For a “bigger shop” you can head south for about ten minutes into St Jovite where there are two large supermarkets, and numerous boutiques, and restaurants.
GREY ROCKS - Half way between Tremblant and St Jovite is the smaller mountain at Grey Rocks with its numerous ski trails for all abilities and its internationally renowned ski school.
PARC TREMBLANT NATIONAL PARK - With an area of 1,510 square km, Mont Tremblant Park is home to over 400 lakes and rivers, as well as high quality tourist installations. This oasis of peace, tranquility, and magnificent wildlife is within 20 mins drive of the house and provides a wealth of summer and winter activities - walking and biking trails, cross country skiing, as well as exciting river activities.

Guestbook for The Maples
Above and beyond what was expected. Thanks a million. Can we stay a bit longer before checking out tomorrow?
Chris M, Ottawa
What a lovely location and accomodation!. From 16 months to 60 years we enjoyed ourselves. The layout of this house is wonderful for teens and adults to have their own space. Great time!
P & J and family
Happy to inform you that we returned safely from another great week at the Maples!! This year was just as much fun as the last. Thanks again for yet another wonderful stay at the Maples, my group and I had an excellent time!
Adam D, Ontario
We loved our stay in tremblant, You have a nice house with a incredible view of Slope. We kept busy by practicing several sports activities including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing in the mountains, downhill skiing, ice skating, stroll in the evening moonlight in the village. My sons played ice skating hockey almost every day or night. The temperature of the week was very good, sunshine, blue sky and white snow profusely. We drank a few bottles of wine in front of the log fire. Fantastic!
Alain B, Montreal
The chalet is fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed living in the lap of luxury. It was toasty warm and we did light a fire one evening, but the place rapidly became too hot. Besides, we were all a bit shattered in the evening to stay up much later than 9 o'clock.
Dave F, UK
Us again ! Third year here for our family get together. We love the house - good chance we will be back again next year. Ciao A tutti !!

We had a great time! Your place lived up to expectations. We had a very comfortable and relaxing time, and would certainly keep it in mind for when we return to Tremblant or recommend it to friends.
