Home description

Feel right at home year round in our log cabin which provides you with all the luxury of a modern home in the beauty of a rustic log cabin. There's an open fireplace to warm you after a day on the slopes in winter, and a terrace to sit on in summer with a glass of wine overlooking the lake and mountains.
Tremblant is a truly four season resort with snow from November to April on the 94 ski slopes and miles of cross country trails. You can also go ice-climbing, dog-sledding, snow-mobiling or just chill out at a scandinavian spa. During the rest of the year there are around 40 golf courses in the area, walking, biking, canoeing, whitewater rafting and horseback-riding. The slopes are a 5-minute drive away as is the Trembalnt National Park.

The Quebec Province region

The climate in Montreal and the Laurentian mountains is similar to that of Bordeaux in France, with average max temperatures of 26 degrees in July and August and down to -5 in January. It can get very cold on the slopes so adequate ski clothing is important.
Quebec City (approx 3 hour drive from the cabin) is well worth a visit especially at Christmas when it looks like a fairy tale and Montreal is great for shopping and site-seeing and only just over an hours drive.
St Saveur provides night-time skiing and outlet shopping and is around a 45 minute drive away.

Mont Tremblant / Lac Superieur area

Where to start! Mont Tremblant resort (around 15 minute drive from the cabin) is set around Tremblant lake for watersports and a beach in summer and the best sking in Eastern America in winter. The winter also offers night-skiing, dog-sledding and snowmobiling. From the cabin you can drive to the North side of the mountain in just 5 minutes, or the National Park is only 8km away for miles of cross country ski trails.
For the rest of the year, the area is a golfers paradise with around 40 courses. There is also a ranch for horse riding, a scandinavian spa, and the National Park provides hiking and mountain bike trails, canoeing and kayaking and white water rafting nearby.
At the resort, our cabin is in the Cote Nord development, where cabins are nestled in the forest and are very quiet and private. Ours provides the best views being the highest property and is decorated in a traditional style while offering all mod-cons. It is a short walk down the hill to The Caribou Inn which offers a bar and restaurant and access to the beach and canoes which are available free to all guests.
