The property comprises of a large farmhouse kitchen, with french doors that open onto the terrace with outstanding views. South facing aspect. Separate dining room with oak beams. Lounge with woodburner in inglenoook fireplace. First floor - a moden family Bathroom. Large master bedroom, with en suite facilities, and french doors that open onto a balcony with outstanding views, also south facing. 2nd large bedroom with wash basin, and private toilet, cathedral beams. Second floor, has a 3rd bedroom with beams. Electric heating, aga,(winter use), and wood burner.
Attached to the house, but via a separate entrance, is a large room, that could be used a playroom, or 4th bedroom. Currently used as a gym, and snug room.

The Normandy / Manche region
Sitting on the Normandy Brittany border, the area gives access to excellent cycling facilities on quiet roads and tracks. Horse riding is availlable in the area the nearest Equisterian centre is 6kms from the house. Beautiful beaches are 35 minutes from the house, a visit to Carrolles beach near Granville is a must. Mont St Michael is 35 minutes drive.
Mont St Michel / Avranches area
The farmhouse is located in tranquil setting, of 3 hectares, of secluded garden, and woodland to relax and enjoy. Away from main roads but only a short distance from local villages, and only 20 minutes from Avranches,where the major supermarkets and shops can be found. The local Auberge at La Chappelle Uree, offers a four course lunch with wine and cider for 10 euros. A superb restaurant near Vire (30 minutes) Le Moulin Rouge, offers excellent cuisine at circa 30 euros per head.
A local market takes place in Brecey every Friday (10 minutes by car), every Wednesday a large market takes place in St Hillaire (15 minutes by car). The town of Avranches is 20 minutes by car with its historic links to the Normandy landings.

All prices are per week inclusive of electricity & logs for the fire, in the summer,subject to resonable use, meter readings taken on day of entry, and day of departure. Winter bookings, electricity and logs have to be paid for, meter readings taken on day of entry and day of departure. Bookings are generally from Saturday to Saturday although this can be flexible. Property available from 4pm on first day of booking and must be vacated by 10am on the final day. Short breaks are also possible subject to availability. Towels, bed linen & tea towels are not supplied. A non refundable deposit of 50% of the total holiday cost is required at the time of booking, the balance being payable six weeks prior to the start of the holiday. A separate security cheque for 150.00 pounds should also be enclosed, which will be banked, but returned once a departure check has been done.
