"très jolie maison idéale pour visiter mont saint-michel"

La maison est très jolie, avec un jardin et un barbecue, les hôtes très gentils.
Bien positionnée pour visiter le mont Saint Michel et les alentours.

"Peaceful and tranquil"

The gite is set on the edge of a small village. It was very peaceful and tranquil with a good sized garden. The gite itself has a large open plan kitchen/diner and lounge that is bigger than appeared in the photos. The kitchen is well equipped including a large fridge freezer although the oven is an electric table top model. The window to the lounge has an insect screen over it which was very useful to let the air in but keep flies out.The good sized bedroom was at the end of a short corridor. Jacqui and Jim were both very friendly, helpful hosts who gave suggestions for visits and who live close by. We would certainly stay again.

"Quiet Stay"

We stayed for 3 nights with our 2 children - it was very conveniently located to St. Mont Michel, the little town was cute and quiet - we enjoyed a nice stroll one night. The weather was dry, so it was great to be able to do laundry and hang it outside to dry. The downside for us was the lack of internet access in the cottage - because we like to make plans as we travel - its usually convenient for us to put the kids to bed in the evening and then look at maps, and plan for the following day or 2. I also have an accommodation rental, so like to have access to internet on a fairly regular basis. There was internet access at the local post office, but when we went they were closed and the hours were not very regular, nor did they fit with our day of taking in the sights. The cottage was clean and large enough for 2 adults and 2 children and Jaqueline and Jim were readily available for questions - had left bread, milk, juice, jams/butter, even brought us fresh eggs one morning.
