The cottage was renovated to a high standard in 2010.

Upstairs has one double bedroom and second bedroom with two single bed. Bathroom has large cubicle shower and spa bath.
The large garden is for the guests use, it has a decking area and heated 7m circular swimming pool. The pool is above ground and has an removable ladder for greater safety. If the farmhouse is occupied then the pool will be shared. The pool is normally available from June until September.
LeJardin is set in a rural position on the outskirts of the Village of Vezins, close to the Barrage de Vezins where the lake stretches all the way to St.Hilaire du Harcouet. We also have a fishing shack on the Lac de Vezins for guests to use. Fishing varies from carp through to zander, perch and pike for the experienced down to roach and bream for Dads who perhaps might fancy taking their lads angling for the first time. I'm always happy to spend an hour explaining the basics and we can supply some basic tackle if required.

The Normandy region
Lower Normandy has a full history of coastlines from the D-Day Landings in the North with the beaches Sword, Juno, Gold, Omaha and Utah. Many are still deeply pitted by German bunkers and shell holes. To the South on the border of Brittany stands the magnificent Mont St.Michel which is the second most visited toursit attraction in France. The Channel Islands are accessible from St.Malo in neighbouring Brittany.
Mont St Michel
Le Mont St.Michel is a place that must be visited. Rightly called "The Wonder of the Western World", the Mont-Saint-Michel is surrounded by a magnificent bay, which is the theatre of the greatest tidal ranges in Europe. A place of history and legends and a delight to see day or night. The beautiful Manuscripts to Mont St.Michel are housed in Avranches town hall where visitors can discover the textures of the manuscripts, the materials, the colours of the inks and the shapes used by medieval copyists.
