About the home

Located on the outskirts of the town of Monserat near Valencia above olive groves and enjoying panoramic views. Monserat is a 25-minute drive from Valencia airport and Valencia city. The villa is ideal for couples and families wishing peace and tranquillity away from urban life and the congestion of holiday resorts.

The villa is on 2 levels. The main entrance is through the covered porch and breakfast area. On the first level is the sitting room with open fire, a television/leisure room, 2 double bedrooms the modern kitchen and a shower/bathroom.
On the second floor at pool level are two additional double bedrooms and the full bathroom. From the lower level to the pool and garden is a marble tiled garage, which is used as a playroom and artists’ studio.

The grounds contain a large pool, gardens with fruit trees and a covered barbecue house. The views are expansive (see the photo albumn for the view).

The Monserrat area

Monsereat is a small traditional Spanish village not on the tourist routes, yet with the shops, restaurants and amenities to cater to all requirements.

Valencia, a short drive, dates from 138 BC and is rich with history, including the home of the Holy Grail. Valencia has been described by The Times as, “ … the real Spain”. It is a vibrant city complete with bullring that offers all recreational activities and a vibrant night life. And…the Americas Cup races are being held there in 2007!

Monasteries, Moorish castles, beaches and the mountains are all worthy excursions from the villa. On return, you can relax and reflect in the secluded tranquillity of Colonia Baix Auli.
