The villa is spacious with three double bedrooms on the 1st floor and a further study/bedroom downstairs. The master bedroom has en-suite facilities and the upstairs living space includes a family bathroom. The downstairs area is open plan and offers a flexible living space. The large living room is linked to an equally large kitchen/dining area.
Doors lead from the living area, out onto a bigger than average terrace where you can enjoy beautiful views and sunsets over the Valencian countryside. From the terrace you can enjoy outside living. Parents in particular will find the terrace a convenient vantage point in which to supervise activities in the private swimming pool below. Those who enjoy outside living will certainly be impressed by the barbecue built on the terrace. The terraced garden includes a newly built swimming pool. The garden is planted with mature palm trees.

* We accept payments in Sterling or Euro. Euro rates will be calculated at the time of booking and depend on currency rates at the time. Payments can be made by PayPal (payments by paypal cost an extra 5% to cover fees) or directly into a bank account. Details will be given at the time of booking.
Last minute deals are available if booked within one month. This is subject to availability. Please ask for more details.
The property will be cleaned and beds prepared for your visit. The bathroom and kitchen will be given a light clean each week, during your stay. Towels and bed linen will be changed weekly (stays over 10 days). There is a cleaning charge of €60 for stays less than one week. If you wish to have extra cleaning, this can be arranged at an extra cost of 10 Euro per hour. More details about this is given prior to booking.
* 25% reservation fee to confirm booking. Balance needs to be paid one month prior to arrival or immediately if booked as at the last minute.
Welcome pack containing essentials such as bread, juice and water is provided for stays of one week or more, on arrival. You can order a welcome pack for stays of less than 7 nights starting from the basic £15 (tea, coffee, milk, juice and breakfast rolls) or make a customised order prior to your stay (shopping and price to be agreed).
Deposit: £250 or €250 to be refunded once the villa has been checked to be in the same condition as you found it and the keys returned.
The Costa Blanca/Valencia region
Please note that the property is on a small urbanization, the back of the property (from back terrace and pool area) is more or less open countryside, there are neighbours to the front and side of the property. The villa is a stand alone property. Our next door neighbour has an olive orchard in the adjoining property. There maybe some daily activity in the area, as is usually the case in Spanish urbanizations. Access roads are very good, tarred roads all the way to the Villa. The property is not near any bars, discos or restaurants. The closest restaurants/bar is a 5 minute drive from the property. Listen out for the beeping horn of the bread van which visits the urbanization between 9 and 10am every morning in August and other bank holidays and take your pick of fresh bread and sweet breakfast buns!
Attractions nearby: Bunol (famous for La tomatina - tomatoe festival. Many other local villages which have fiestas running through August. The closest town, Turis has supermarkets, banks etc etc. Valencia, a diverse range of attractions and all the facilities of a large city is only 35 miles away. Xativa The historic castle set along a mountain ridge is a 'must see'.

Albufera, Valencia's largest lake and nature reserve, closest town is El Palmer.
Sagunto: Hilltop Roman castle - Enormous! Navajas: Impressive waterfall, Jerica: Beautiful old hilltop village with Moorish tower, Montanejos: Impressive warm water canyon for swimming, Teruel: Historic Moorish city.
Biking and walking in the Sierra Calderona, for amazing mountain walks.
The spectacular world famous festival 'Las Fallas', and on the last Wednesday of August each year, the world famous tomato throwing festival, 'La Tomatina', takes place in Bunol, 12 km from Casa del Vega.
Valencia Climate: The climate is generally fairly mild, particularly along the coastline. Rainy weather is more common during springtime, with occasional heavy downpours. Average temperatures in February are 16°C / 61°F, although by the end of March it is generally beach weather, night times can still be a little chilly.
The summer weather and climate in Valencia is hot, with daytime temperatures between June to September averaging around 28°C / 82°F. Temperatures peak during July and August, reaching 30°C / 86°F or more. Valencia and the city becomes a major tourist destination, with visitors arriving to take advantage of the sunny weather and beautiful sandy beaches along the coast.
Temperatures in Valencia during September average around 25°C / 77°F, by late October early November, 19°C / 66°F. December and January tend to feature the coldest weather and climate in Valencia, end of January it starts to feel as if spring is just around the corner.

Escorpion Golf Club - Bétera.
Standing around 20 km / 12 miles to the north of Valencia, the Escorpion Golf Club dates back to 1975 and was built around many mature orange trees and palms. With bunkers, water hazards, a large clubhouse and impressive scenery, the Escorpion Golf Club is home to three separate nine-hole golf courses, which can be played in different combinations.
