Recent guests Stephen and Monica e-mailed the following comments :- "We had a wonderful holiday in your fantastic home, we opened the door and WOW!!! - what a first impression. The house is truly amazing and the welcome hamper was very much appreciated. The weather was unbelievable - hot and sunny, not a cloud in sight - we were able to revisit places in the Dordogne (Bergerac, St. Emilion, Sarlat), as well as the lovely Monsegur area. Thank you so much for the opportunity to "Live the Dream".
Within an hour of both Bordeaux and Bergerac airports, in a fabulous location with countryside views, yet only a few minutes level walk to the centre of the medieval "bastide" town of Monsegur, with it's bars, resataurants and shops. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The centrally heated house has 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and separate WC.. The spacious, bright lounge with wood-burning stove has English TV, wifi ADSL internet access and free phone calls to landlines in EU, USA and Canada. Excellent red, white and rose wines are produced in the area. St. Emilion and Pomerol are only a short 45 minute drive away and even closer you can visit the fine chateaux of Sauternes to taste the exceptional sweet wines.

Guestbook
The villa is so beautiful and the kitchen is just amazing. My mum and sister enjoyed cooking lovely rustic meals which the rest of us enjoyed tucking into. The weather was so warm and sunny (mid October) and we spent many lazy afternoons in the garden playing cards and sipping lovely wines. It was a benefit to visit out of season as we had the place to ourselves. The De Silva family from 4 continents!
As for La Maison Pierre, it's difficult to know where to start because we really did have such a fantastic holiday. The house is extremely comfortable and a real home from home. We virtually had wall to wall sushine - 1 poor day. Many thanks for the opportunity to stay in such a great property in a part of France which we love and which we feel offers everything we need for a perfect holiday. All in all we had the most wonderful two weeks, contributed to in no small part, by the lovely and very comfortable base we had to come home to each evening and thanks again to you for that. The Macshannons, Scotland
Fabulous and very luxurious, spacious villa, just the treat we were looking for. We cannot recommend your property highly enough. Mr. and Mrs. Allen, Warwickshire, UK
Stunning house, full of extra special touches and loads of luxury. Didn't want to go home. Mr. and Mrs. Barlow, Solihull, UK
Wish we had found you sooner! We wouldn't have visited Tuscany for the last five years if we had known about La Maison Pierre and Monsegur. Mr. and Mrs. Jennings, Cheshire, UK
