This is a very alluring property which is in a wealthy suburb of Monovar, with luxury fixtures and fittings through-out. Designed for two or three families/friends looking to holiday together in peaceful seclusion, sharing the costs.
The area is very typically Spanish and not a tourist area. Perched on a hill and surrounded by mountains and vineyards overlooking the very quaint 14th Century “Moors & Christians” towns of Monovar, Elda and Sax. This lovely villa makes for a very relaxing holiday. Frequent fiesta celebrations take place all year. The pictures do not do justice to this beautiful villa and surrounding areas.
Facilities - Outside
The pool area is South facing with the sun shining directly onto the 500m2 patio/pool area from 09.00 until dusk in the Summer. There are several sun beds provided on the patio, a BBQ that lights up at night, an al-fresco eating area seats 10 under the Pergola. There is a hot and cold solar heated shower next to the pool. The patio illuminates at night extending your time spent outside.
Opposite the pool is a sanded play area for the children with double swing, dolls house, slide and toys.
The total plot is 8000m2 and great for jogging around to burn off all those calories consumed the previous night, a complete circuit is approximately 500 meters. The driveway is 200 meters from the nearest road making it very safe behind the electronically controlled gates and 2.5 meter perimeter see through fence.
There are over 20 palm trees of differing varieties giving a feeling of grandeur as well as providing shade from the hot sun, along with Firs and fruit trees in between the rose beds and Oleander plants. There are several seats around the garden for you to enjoy some peace and quiet.
Inside
There are three main living/reception rooms made up of the lounge, conservatory and games room with plenty of space in each area. There is Sky television with the usual UK channels available through a 2.4 Satellite dish. There are video tapes and a video for your use. A music centre with CD’s and DVD player with several DVD’s available. There is a book case in the conservatory with lots of books and magazines to read (mainly in English).
The kitchen and utility area next to it have all the modern appliances you would expect, along with adequate cutlery and crockery. In the utility area is a dishwasher, washing machine and the hot water storage tanks. Cooking is by butane gas with an electric oven.
There are five bedrooms in all with three double rooms (One en-suite) with double patio doors straight onto the patio area and overlooking the pool outside. The remaining three bedrooms have twin beds taking the bedroom sleeping capacity to 10. There is a double sofa bed in the games rooms if required for another two people. We have toddler kits available if required.
The games room has a 2 meter pool table, table soccer, darts and lots of board games and toys for the youngsters. Adults can relax in the lounge and conservatory taking in the views whilst the kids play happily in the games room, bliss!!
There are two full bathrooms, one with a shower unit the other with a full bath (Shower over the bath). Both have double sink units, cabinets and adequate mirrors and hair dryers. There is another WC, sink unit in one of the twin bedded rooms.

The beds are very cosy for those "lay in" days. The views around the villa are fantastic and very relaxing. Therre are some lovely walks around the area and vineyards to explore to taste the local wines.

BIG DISCOUNTS OUT OF PEAK SEASON
We will need to discuss the booking witth you, prior to acceptance. We will then write you you confirming the booking. Your full name, telephone number, address, email will be required.
The deposit is 35% of the price to be paid within 7 days of the booking, which is non refundable.
A breakage bond is payable with the balance 8 weeks before travel. This is returned approximately 10 days after you reurn home, assuming there have been no breakages.
Our charges are for the rental period only and do not include travel to and from Spain, tansfers to or from transport links including airports, ports or train/bus stations to and from the villa. Car hire is the clients responsibilty. We can offer web sites based in pain for you to contact.
We can arrange transfers that are payable to the driver by the client in Euros locally. The driver is likely to request payment for both journey on the inward trip.
Take-over time on the hand-over day is 16.00 hours the day of arrival and departure by 10.00 on the day of departure. This is so our cleaning staff have adequate time to clean for the next tenant.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region


The area is not a tourist trap and very traditionally Spanish. Albeit the normal tourist areas towards the Alicante area are within a 30 minute drive away. You can enjoy the best of both worlds. The cuisine is reflects the area, albeit some international restaurants can be found in the surrounding towns and villages.
To the East lies the popular Costal towns with Benidorm (45 Minute drive), Calpe, Javea, Denia in the same area. Valencia is approximately two hours and Barcelona at 4 Hours. All these areas are easily accessible for days out. To the West is Torrevieja, Murcia at just over 1 hour, South is Alicante at 30 minutes with its great shopping. North at 4 hours is Madrid. You can all the way on one Motorway (A31). If you are driving to Spain we can offer you a great route that takes 18 hours driving.
The area is famous for its wine production. The wine is very mellow and fruity. Vineyards stretch 10 miles in every direction and there are plentiful Bodegas for wine tasting and buying. Try the Primitivo Qulies, just around the corner. The area also specializes in Spanish Chocolate in Elda and leather goods. There are lots of local markets around, the details of which are kept in the information book locally.
Wine making region, miles of vineyards, fantastic views all around the villa. Very typically Spanish. Not a tourist area. Car Hire recommended to make the most of this area and your own convenience.
The local towns of Monovar, Elda, Sax Pinoso are steeped in the Moors and Christians era. Lots of local fiestas to attend. 14th Century architecture, great for walking, climbing & cycling. Great drive down for those that do not want to fly

The Monovar area
The area is very Spanish and not spoilt by tourism. Not many of the local Spanish people speak English, so if you know a bit of the language it will help, if not they are good at sign language!! They are very welcoming and will help you all they can. The area is steeped in history on "The Moors & Christians era" that backdates to the 14th century. There are some fantastic monuments and churches. Vineyards for miles and local Bodegas to taste the local wine, which I might add is very drinkable in large quantities. The surrounding mountains are beautiful to look at and climb for the more energetic.
Cycling is a favourite sport around the area. There are restaurants in the local towns, which are mainly Spanish, but there are some Chinese restaurants around. The villa is centrally located to visit all the big attractions on the Costa Blanca. Benidorm is 45 minutes by car, Javea, Denia at one hour. To the South is Murcia at one hour.
The Costa Del Sol is about 4-5 hours to Granada and Malaga. To the North is Madrid at around 4 hours, Valencia at 2 hours and Barcelona at 4 hours. All these towns are accessible by tip top Motorways. The nearest beach is Santa Pola at around 30-40 minutes away with some of the best beaches in Spain. It is very hot in the Summer months but generally cooler than the coastal areas.
The area is renowned for its superb walking, climbing and cycling holidays.

Golf:
The nearest golf course to the villa is Allenda, which is an 18 hole tournament course at a 10 minute drive. There are five other golf courses on the Costa Blanca all of which are within 1 hours drive. Clubs and buggies can be hired at most courses. Handicaps maybe required. Monovar will have its own golf course in 2010.
Watersports:
Various water sports are available at the nearest beaches and all along the Coast.

The villa is between Alicante & Murcia airports on the Costa Blanca. Either way is via the A7 Motorway, which takes approximately 30/40 Minutes. You can utilise the budget airlines such as Easyjet and Ryanair, both of these carriers fly into the main airports. There are car hire companies at the airports. We can provide you with contacts if you require help.
