Home description
Our charming residence is made by 14 apartments (1 and 2 bedrooms) with garden or balcony. We are perfectly located, with the town centre and its bars, restaurants, pizzerias and shops only a 1 min walk away. 5 mins walk are the shores of Lake Garda where you will find lakeside restaurants, pizzerias, bars, ice-cream parlours, ferries to spend a nice day visiting the whole Lake Garda, boat hire and scooter hire. And if you want to stay even closer, then relax around our beautiful swimming pool and enjoy the stunning lake views. If you have a car, there is also a car park inside the residence, protected by a gate. A shared BBQ facilities with shared tables and chairs for our guests is available! Don' t miss the chance to discover Valtenesi Area renting a bike in a local shop! And don't forget that my family and I we live inside Corte Ferrari, so if you need any tips, advice, things to do, we are always there for you!

A holiday for everyone!
*VISIT THE AREA* Moniga is the best base that you can choose to visit the area and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere out of the crowd! In 10-15 minutes you are in Desenzano where there are the railway station that leads you to Venice (a must) or Milano and the highway to go to Verona (a must), Bergamo, Mantova. From Moniga you can have a tour of the lake with all its villages like Sirmione, Lazise, Garda, Riva, Limone and Salò. In 45-60 minutes you can also be on a mountain: reach Malcesine, take the cable and in 15 minutes you will be on the top of the mountain that overlooks the lake. Absolutely breathless!There aren' t many places like that in the world!
*FOR YOUR CHILDREN...AND NOT ONLY* Your children will love to spend their holiday here: there is the biggest fun park of Italy Gardaland, than also Moviland and Medioeval Time worth a visit, but also natural (Zoo-safari) and aquatic (Caneva) parks around the lake that offer both adults and children unforgettable amusement.
*EATING* If you love food, there is a delicious cuisine, simple and refined at the same time, which makes of genuine food its strong point. Lake fish, olive oil, wines, truffles, different kinds of cheese, pasta, are all tempting occasions for stopping in a fine restaurant or in one of the numerous characteristic trattorias. And surely a visit to a cellar or to an oil mill can't be missed, for discovering the typical products of the Garda region. Tasting a good and fresh bottle of "Chiaretto" is another must: "Chiaretto" it is a wine that looks like a rosé, but its taste is different...drink safely! And now a tip that none will tell you: during the summer go to eat to one of the many local "Sagra", that is where Italians go: A "sagra" is a sort of festival organized by a town or a group of people of a town open to everybody, where you can usally eat, Pasta, Grilled meat/sometimes Fish and nearly - only on the west coast of the lake - always "Spiedo" that is a grilled meat cooked on the spit with a lot of butter, not very healthy, but very good! Usually there are no waiters, you are the waiter, you have to pay and take the food on your table! Please check 'Where to eat' paragraph of my website!
*CULTURAL* You will have the chance to partecipate to very important cultural events, like music and dance shows, important exhibitions and folk programmes, cheering up the visitors in any time of the year. And a rich choice of events and appointments is also given by the towns near-by, like Brescia, Mantova, Trento, Verona (Arena), Venezia, Bergamo and Milano.
*SPORT* Maybe you are a sportif than you will be able to choose between: golf (there 2 golf courses in less than 20 min from Moniga) , tennis, sails, windsurfing, kitesurfing, canoeing, as well as for all yachting, fishing and diving lovers,mountain biking or horse-back riding, trekking and long excursions in the mountains (always watching the lake) or also skiing in winter time!
*NIGHT LIFE* If you love night life do not worry, you will find it: Discos, pubs, piano-bars, all are sure attractions for spending pleasant nights in this magic atmosphere, among the lights glittering on the lake.And fire works often lit up the summer nights.
Moniga del Garda area
The centre of Moniga del Garda is dominated by the medieval castle, which nowadays contains homes. As well as its historical value, Moniga also offers excellent facilities including a bank, post-office, and tourist information office. The surrounding area is known as The Valtenesi and is an area dominated by terraces of olive trees and vineyards. The region is dotted with castles, villas and small villages and is renowned for its olive oil and wine, especially Chiaretto and Rosso. We have bikes available so why not make a tour of the local countryside. Or take a short stroll to the beach where you can swim or hire a speed boat. The south of Lake Garda has plenty for all the family to see and do, so why not take a trip to Gardaland, the largest theme park in Italy or one of the many water parks or botanical gardens. There is plenty to do if you love water sports and we even have golf courses close by. Moniga del Garda is also an excellent base if you want to take a day-trip to Venice, Milan, Verona and Mantova.

Further details indoors: Our apartments, are well sized (80m2 the 2 bedroom, 70m2 the 1 bedroom), located at the ground floor/mezzanine, first and top floor. One has the garden, some have balcony, other are without balcony, but with other big values. Modern furnishings, TV and DVD player, just in case of a rainy day! Wooden beams throughout and air-conditioning. There is sofa and a sofabed, table and chairs (and another set on the balcony for eating outside watching the light of the lake), fully fitted kitchen. Modern bathroom with shower, sink and bidet. The main bedroom has a double bed. Second bedroom has normally bunk beds. Washing machine in all apartments
Further details outdoors: All the apartments overlook the swimming pool - ideal for parents to keep an eye on the kids! The pool is shared between the 14 apartments in the residence, and has plenty of space to relax. There are sunloungers and parasols for use. There is also a children's's play area close by.

Swimming pool open from April till November. Do not forget that me and my family we live inside the residence, so for any tips or helps (things to do, places to visit, transfers) during your holiday, we will always be there!

‘'Thomas, Been hectic since we returned. I was going to mail you anyway to say how much we enjoyed our stay . The apartment was superb and clean and the views were stunning. I think we were very lucky with the weather and this showed the area in it's true beauty. We will return in the future when F. is a little older and maybe with the his older brothers. I would like to have spent more time around Corte Ferrari and used your pool but on such a short trip we wanted to see as much as we could, we were not disappointed. "Dear Thomas, We have just arrived home after a wonderful stay at your apartments. I would like to say thank you because the apartments were so spacious, so well fitted out, and well cared for. Your information on the internet before we came was very accurate, so that we felt well informed before we arrived, and the apartment and its location exceeded our expectations. I will definitely recommend it to friends. You asked my husband on our last day whether we had done much sightseeing. We actually stayed in Verona the week before, so we did a lot of sightseeing then, and the second week was more of a relaxing treat for our daughter, so she could play in the pool! However, we did visit Sirmione and Malcesine by boat (with a too-short trip up Monte Baldo), and drive to Il Vitorriale, Salo, and Desenzano. We might have done a little more but it took me a couple of days to understand the ferry timetable! Thank you again for such a pleasant stay H., R. and S.
