About the home

Gite Rubis is one of four gites in Le Domaine du Bossu. It is completely modernized (and has wheelcahir access) but is set in traditional and beautiful surroundings (on a site which is 9 hectares). It is comfortable and welcoming; with a swimming pool, playground, a lake (fishing) and many other outdoor activities at the lodge and nearly.

The lodge has a private terrace with a barbecue. The gite is fully equipped with: TV, dishwasher, clothes washer, oven, microwave, fridge. Shower rms and private toilet. There are three bedrooms: a double, a twin room, and a sofa bed for 2 people. It also has large private carpark.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Lot et Garonne region

There is great variety of activities in the area such as:Canoeing, rowing, water-skiing, boating, climbing, archery, speleology and crosscountry biking. There is also golf in the area, as well as a gym, bicycles for rent, tennis, horse riding and even an acrobatic adventure in the forest.

Tourist attractions include: historical monuments, churches, vineyards, and the local towns and villages (Sarlat, Dôme, Monpazier, Belves, Castel from Duras, Biron, Bonaguil....)

The bastide of Monflanquin (one of most beautiful village of France) is located between 20 other bastides.
During the night in July and Agust you can see the monflanquin bastide with candles...the visite is making by "janouille".

Every Turday the big market waiting you on the central place (all the year), in july and agust you will see the marvellous night market from Monflanquin.
Aroud the 15 Agust you can admire the medieval fest of Monflanquin.
