About the home
This lovely comfortable detached family home is ideally situated in the pretty village of Monda and is the ideal place of a relaxing holiday. There is a private swimming pool overlooking orchards of orange trees and amazing views of the Sierra de las Nieves.
Wonderful views and a peaceful location yet only fifteen minutes drive to the resort beaches of Marbella, Puerto Banus and the rest of the Costa del Sol and ten minutes walking distance from the village. .
The accommodation comprises of FOUR double bedrooms in the MAIN HOUSE and a further DOUBLE bedroom within the GARDEN STUDIO next to the swimming pool.
The villa is very well furnished with all the comforts of home including a comfortable lounge with two large sofas, good sized well equipped kitchen with built-in oven, five gas ring hob, dishwasher and granite worksurfaces, large patio doors leading out to a terrace with large BBQ and wonderful mountain views. Dining area with seating for 10 people. Downstairs cloakroom/wc. Downstairs bedroom with queen size bed and en-suite with bath, seperate shower, wc, bidet and wash handbasin.
Feature wooden staircase leading up to a galleried landing and double doors to a sunny upper terrace with lovely views: Upstairs are a further three double bedrooms including a Master bedroom en-suite with queen sized bed, walk in wardrobe and relaxing lounge area overlooking the spectacular mountain views. A further large bedroom en suite with twin beds. Bedroom no. 3 with en-suite and twin beds. All three en suite bathrooms upstairs have walk-in shower, wc, bidet and wash handbasin.
GARDEN STUDIO/BEDROOM 5 is self contained next to the swimming pool. Furnished with a Double bed, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, wc and wash handbasin. Compact well equipped kitchen area with small induction hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle etc.

There is a large covered terrace area with a large refectory table, chairs and a comfortable sofa.
The house is surrounded by private terraces overlooking beautiful mountain views. There is ample seating, tables and sunloungers and umbrella.
The pool area has tree shaded areas and a well established garden. It is the perfect place to relax with friends and family.
Within the one acre grounds is an unused stable block housing several gym equipment machines including a running machine which our guests are very welcome to use. Our two outdoor cats also live adjacent to the stables but keep well out of the way and are mostly asleep in the daytime.
The villa is easily accessed and situated just off a quiet B-road from Monda to the next village of Guaro. Ample parking space is available within the grounds.

Smoking is not permitted within the house or studio apartment, please make sure the ashtrays provided are used and all cigarettes are properly extinguished particularly in high season summer months because of fire risks.
The Andalucia / Malaga Province region


Marbella and Puerto Banus beaches and the rest of the Costa del Sol are only 15 minutes from Monda. The climate is mainly dry and sunny throughout the year. The Seve Ballesteros designed golf course is just a twenty minute car journey and many more golf courses along the Costa del Sol are close by.
The cities of Malaga, (40mins) Seville (2hrs) and Granada (2hrs), with its ski resort, are all within easy reach. Gibraltar and the Tangiers ferries are only an hours' drive.
The Monda area
Inland from the fabulous coast of the Costa del Sol, Monda is a typical white Andalusian village with its own working Olive and Almond mills. The area is steeped in history and Monda is overlooked by its Castle the original foundations of which are dated back to the Roman times, it is now a hotel and restaurant.
The traditional Spanish life is still evident with working donkeys and goat herds passing through the village. The local fiestas feature many live music shows with flamenco dancing, open air concerts and dance bands. Most of the year the village enjoys a slow pace of life making it a perfect place to unwind. There are various bars and restaurants serving the traditional tapas or a la carte meals without paying the tourist prices on the coast. Also a couple of discos and late night bars for the more energetic visitors.
The area has many other activities including the Golf, Horse riding, bird watching, mountain walks. The famous beach resort of Puerto Banus with its many beach bars, restaurants and shops is only a 20 minute drive from the villa

Many airlines within Europe travel to Malaga or alternatively flights to Gibraltar can be arranged. www.skyscanner.net is an excellent price comparison site for most of the airlines.
The journey from the airport takes approximately 45 minutes travelling in the direction of Cadiz/Algeciras as far as Marbella where you take the road for fifteen minutes that travels to Monda.
We have full driving directions that can be sent when a booking is made.
There are many car hire companies on line and also at the airport where arrangements can be easily made.
