Further details outdoors
This is a very private property. From the main road, gates lead to the gravel driveway which winds its way for about 200 yards to the villa. On the way, you pass beautiful mimosa trees and the ancient ruin of a farmhouse and then as you turn to the right, the villa and pool come into view. The house is built on one of several large plateaus that lead down to a stream. Most of the land you can see from the villa, belongs to it, right up to the hilltop, which keeps it very secluded, but it is not remote with restaurants just a few metres from the driveway. Caldas de Monchique is a unique spa village a couple of km up the road and must be visited. Big towns, nightlife, golf courses and the new formula 1 racetrack are all within about a 20 minute drive as are some lovely beaches.
