This is a delightful property situated in the foot of the Monchique mountains a, between the historic town of Silves and Portimão. Great base for those who wish to enjoy walking, relaxing or nature and birds.
The property comprises of large lounge/diner area, a kitchen and two twin bed bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. There is airconditioning in one bedroom and the lounge, in addition there are fans are provided in the main rooms.
Outside is a private 8m x 4m swimming pool with a sun terrace which has table chairs and sun loungers. The property is on a large plot of land.

The Algarve / West Algarve region
The weather is great most of the year (average yearly temperature 22.3C). April/May/October/November its in the lower 20sC, June/July/August/September upper 20sC - 35C or more. If you are lucky you can lay on the beach enjoying the sun on Christmas day.
The area is filled with history. Why not go and explore some of the beautiful villages and towns that Portugal has to offer. You can visit the most westerly point in Europe - Cape St Vincent, see the natural springs in the Monchique mountains, visit some of the town markets such as nearby Loulé and by the way Lisbon is only 2.5 hours away by car for the those who want to go a bit further, or Spain at 1.5 - 2 hours away.
Monchique area
The property is approximately 12km from both Silves, a historic market town and Portimão a busy fishing port with shops, restaurants and beaches. Further inland you can take a drive to Caldas de Monchique where the regions mineral water comes from, you can take your own bottles and fill up for free. There are lots of restaurants dotted around the area and Monchique is a popular location for the locals on Sundays to come and eat Frango com Piri Piri (Chicken Piri Piri - one of my personal favourite Portuguese dishes). One of regions best golf courses is about a 25 minute drive away.

The balance is required (plus returnable breakages and damages deposit £150) 2 calendar months prior to guests' arrival CHANGE OVER DAY... Normally Sunday but other days will be considered ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE... Arrival after 14H00 and departure before 10H00.
