Mollymook is a magnificent seaside escape, ideal for holidays and weekend getaways. The district is a comfortable three hours drive south of Sydney and just over two hours from Canberra.
Mollymook Beach is one of the South Coast's most popular beaches. This golden stretch of sand has ideal conditions for experienced surfers, body surfers and anyone keen to learn how to surf. Headlands at either end of the beach offer wonderful protection for the kids and grassy reserves behind the beach are perfect for picnics, relaxing and watching the kids at play.
Around the point is Narawallee Inlet with a sandy floor and warm shallow water. Perfect for children, paddleboarding or kayaking it adds to the idyllic holiday experience.
Mollymook has two very scenic golf courses - the 9-hole Beachside Course on the southern end of the beach and the 18-hole Championship Hilltop Course, in a bushland setting by the ocean. Mollymook Bay teems with marine life and includes resident dolphins. Fishing and whale watching are popular activities at Mollymook.
Mollymook has a range of local shops and cafes and only five minutes drive away is the pretty historical town Milton where you will find gourmet restaurants and cafés, designer clothes stores, antique shops and wonderful arts and crafts galleries.
