Inside the villa downstairs there is a large open plan lounge, dining room and bar area with a fully-equipped kitchen, utility room and WC, upstairs there are 3 large double bedrooms and a family bathroom with shower.

Kitchen - Fully equipped kitchen with terracotta tiles, a 4 ring halogen hob, fan oven, built in microwave oven, fridge freezer and dish washer. There is an excellent supply of crockery, pots and pans and cutlery.
Utility Room - Washing machine. tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, clothes dryer.
Living Rooms - A large lounge with 2 cream sofas (one of which is a double sofa bed); glass coffee table, TV with DVD player and Sky box. The dining area has a glass dining table with seating for 8. Bar area with bar and 3 stools together with an iPod player.
Other - The sideboard downstairs has a good selection of books and DVDs and there are games under the bar. Free broadband internet access.
There is electric heating for the winter season. There is a portable air-conditioning unit upstairs for those hot summer nights. The interior of the property is approximately 110m2.
Our English/French speaking property manager will meet you upon arrival and ensure your comfort and enjoyment throughout your stay. She will be available for advice on restaurants, facilities and amenities. If you require additional cleaning etc this can be arranged at an extra cost and paid locally. In high season is is advisable to request this early.
Unique benefits of the property:
The villa is a 5 minute drive from the Security Gate situated in a small and quiet cul-de-sac. The property is accessible via a locked gate leading through to the main entrance where 2 olive trees stand on either side of the front door. The terrace to the rear is south-facing and overlooks the garden with steps leading down to the heated swimming pool and pool house area. There is a boule court to one side of the garden where trees offer shade during the hottest parts of the day. The pool house contains a marble dining table with seating for 8 for lunch and dinner with a BBQ area to one side. There is absolute privacy - and whilst there are neighbouring houses, the garden and bathing area around the pool is not over-looked by anyone. This is a house where you can chill.
Outside:
The villa is south-facing with a large terrace and steps down to the pool and pool house (with BBQ area). The large garden contains a boules court off to one side for those that fancy themselves at Petanque.
The garden is landscaped and leads down from the terrace to the large private pool measuring 10m x 5m. A boules court is also provided for your enjoyment.
A large sun terrace runs the breadth of the villa and there is a second terrace around the pool and pool house with an additional dining area for 8.
There is an excellent supply of garden furniture including loungers and deck chairs and further tables and chairs.

We rented this lovely villa late summer 2009. It was easy to enjoy the understated elegance of the villa with direct access to a world class golf course, stables and 5 star amenities right on our doorstep. The attention to detail and liaison by the local representative made our stay all the more comfortable. We had a truly unique experience, which is forever imprinted on our hearts and we hold fond memories of our stay. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay for longer!"

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Bouches-du-Rhone region
This superb villa is an ideal place for breaks throughout the year. The Spring and Autumn seasons are pleasantly warm and are great times to play golf on the Pont Royal course (designed by Seve Ballesteros) or on other courses in the area. The warmer summer months will encourage you to relax around the pool - or to take part in the various activities on site (including a wave pool, swimming pools, horse riding, tennis, mini farm, playground and Kids' clubs). Mediterranean beaches are within an hour's drive.
Coast/Beach
Cassis is a 45 min drive with a pebble beach, marina, cafes and restaurants which line the village sea front. Various beaches and coves lie secluded along the coast line some of which are sandy. The amazing wetlands of the Camargue is home to the beautiful white Camargue horses, black bulls and pink flamingos. The historic St Maries de la Mere offers sand and shingle beaches with many more activities.
Travel
The TGV runs from Avignon and Aix en Provence (40 kilometres). Ferries run from Marseille to Corsica and North Africa. The nearest motorway junction is junction 26, Senas on the A7 (a distance of 9 kilometres from the house). A car is recommended as there is so much to see and do in the area. Nearest airports:
Avignon (20 minutes).
Marseille (40 minutes).
Nimes (60 minutes).
Montpellier (80 minutes).
Nice (100 minutes).
Distances
Shops and restaurants can be found in Pont Royal. The nearest large supermarket is in Mallemort which is 3 kilometres away. There are local markets in Pont Royal, Mallemort, Avignon, Aix en Provence and Lourmarin to mention a few! Arles, Nîmes, the Gorges de Verdon, are all tourist attractions and within comfortable driving distance.
The sun shines for 300 days a year. The light is incredible - just ask Cezanne and Van Gogh! There are 3 fascinating and quite different cities within 60 minutes: Marseille, Avignon and Aix. The countryside is beautiful with the Luberon to the north, the Alpilles to the west, the Camargue to the south-west, the sea to the south and the Cote d'Azur to the south-east. Pont Royal is a special place: pretty, well-kept, clean, safe (one entrance with security), with an 18 hole championship golf course, tennis, swimming pools, shops and restaurants. There are plenty of local vineyards where the wine is surprisingly good. And plenty of fabulous villages to explore: Lourmarin, Roussillon, Menerbes, Lacoste, Gordes, Bonnieux and Curcoron - to name but a few. This is "real" Provence.
The Molleges area
Golf
The golf course was designed by Seve Ballesteros and is an 18 hole, par 72, 6307m course. It is one of the most highly rated in Southern France (rated 16/20 in the Peugeot Guide of Top 1000 Golf Courses in Europe), hosting a Masters event in October for European professionals and is open to the public. The villa is only 5-10 minutes walk to the driving range, clubhouse and first tee as well as the bars and restaurants. Another 10 golf courses, mostly excellent, are within an hour's drive through some of the most beautiful countryside in France.
Skiing
There are a couple of ski resorts within a couple of hours driving which are ideal for weekend skiing and larger resorts (approximately 3 hours) are easily accessible for longer holidays.
The leisure activities at Pierre et Vacances include: Outdoor heated pools and wave pool. Children's farm, horse riding centre for all ages. 18 hole championship golf course. Boating Lake, archery, tennis, bicycle hire, kids playground, kids clubs up to teenagers. Nightly entertainment, high season. All of the above are subject to availability and at an extra cost.
Within Pont Royal, there is one supermarket, two gift shops, one wine shop, a newspaper shop and tourist information. There are also two restaurants and a cafe. There are numerous vineyards locally as well as open-air theatres and music festivals (in season). Cultural outings can also be organised through the tourist office in the village. A new addition is the Biomecaswing Centre at Pont Royal where you can get your golf swing checked out or, if golf is not for you, why not test out their health and beauty centre.
