Built as a family holiday home in the 1920s, this lovely little cottage has now been renovated to provide modern, comfortable accommodation. There is also a decked area to the rear of the property which is ideal for alfresco dining. The village green and traditional pub are within easy reach whilst the attractions of the wider area are also easily accessible.

Free standing electric cooker with fan assisted oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine, colour TV with Freeview, video, DVD. All electricity and starter pack of fuel for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Roadside parking for 2 cars to front of cottage. Front lawnd garden, enclosed rear lawned garden, with raised decking area with garden furniture and BBQ. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry no smoking. Shops 2 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: Property is accessed via 3 descending steps from road level on to front path.
The North Wales / Denbigh/Flint/Conwy region
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls. Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales’ highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway. Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat.
In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe.You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast. To the south, there’s the lovely Brecon Beacons National Park, a haven of rugged moorland, forests and mountains that’s just perfect for nature lovers and walkers.
Finally, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is renowned for its wildlife, stunning coastal scenery, superb beaches and as the home of Britain’s smallest city, the City of St David’s.
The Mold / Nercwys area
Situated close to a well-known Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the pretty village of Nercwys boasts a lovely green, an old church and a traditional pub. Set in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd this charming village offers easy access to the surrounding hill ranges and Nercwys Forest – both of which provide wonderful walking, horse-riding and cycling routes. The area is an excellent location for bird watchers and nature lovers due to the Long Eared Owl population and the resident Muntjac Deer. Nearby is the busy market town of Mold which offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants whilst slightly further afield is the Jacobean Nercwys Hall which was built in 1638 and boasts a display of over 20,000 articles known as the Gathering of Jewels.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
