The North Wales region

Rosemount Barn is in the village of Old Halkyn Hall, part of the Halkyn Conservation Area. On the edge of Halkyn Mountain, there are stunning views of the famous Dee Estuary, the Wirral and beyond.

The A55 Expressway is very accessable so we are in easy reach of all of North Wales, Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. Conwy and Llandudno are only 30 minutes away. Liverpool and Manchester Airports are an easy 50 minutes drive and Anglesey can be reached within an hour. Within an hour of Rosemount Barn, there are enough castles, mountains, beaches and attractions to keep anyone happy. Or you could sit in the private garden and just relax. Then wander down to our local pub for food and a quiet drink.

Mold is a historic market town with a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. It also has a world famous theatre, the Theatr Clywd Cymru.

But if you do want to be active, you're spoilt for choice. For climbers and serious hikers, Snowdonia is easily reached in an hour. Offa's Dyke is a bit easier and a lot nearer. There's golf at Holywell and Mold, mountain biking in the Clwydian Range and horse riding nearby.

"home from home"

my daughter said it all" its lovely to come away to stay somewhere that is as good or better than your own home"
we were welcomed with lemon drizzle cake, and later freshly baked, still warm, bread.
clean well designed with all modern needs, plus a garden

"Relaxing and cosy Barn conversion"

Had a wonderful time at this warm and cosy barn conversion.Beautiful bed linen and comfy beds always a plus point, the kitchen was excellant although just a minor point would have liked a larger pan to boil pasta in! The barn is in a great location near to the coast, although you will need a car.
