Local attractions include Loggerheads country park 3 miles away, North Wales coastal beaches 25 miles, the walled city of Chester 17 miles. The house and flat are also conveniently placed for exploring Llangollen which has many outdoor activities, and plays host to various festivals held throughout the year, including the famous International Musical Eisteddfod. If you enjoy walking the Clwydian Range, Horseshoe Pass and the famous Offa's Dyke Path are all close by.
Within 10 minutes walk there is a climbing wall and numerous mountain biking tracks start form the door steps. Bicycles can be hired. For a great day out children will love playing on the superb beaches at Towyn, Prestatyn and Rhyl, all approximately 40 minutes away. You can also visit the theatre at Rhyl Pavilion, enjoy swimming at the Suncentre located on the promenade and the Sealife Aquarium is also worth a visit. The Welsh Mountain zoo is just a little further along the coast at Colwyn Bay.
