About the home

The large lodge was fully refurbished this year giving a luxury feel to your stay adding a new wet room to go along with the large bathroom it also has 2 living rooms and 2 kitchens allowing for large partys to have there own space the five bedrooms can sleep 2 -12 very comferly there is a decked area leading from patio windows and a large bq area there is a childrens play area and ample parking we are within easy reach of many attractions and there are lots of country pubs and resturants chester races llangollen wrexam and ruthin are only a short distance along with the coast we have been awarded 4 star by north wales tourism very close to ceod llandegla mountain biking centre and faux llandegla shooting range

“This is an excellent, luxurious self catering property” I can honestly say that this is the nicest, most luxurious and cleanest holiday property I have ever stayed in, in Britain (and I have been to lots). The photos of the outside do not do it justice - everything inside is very new and done to a high standard. It is very reasonably priced given that it sleeps 12. The area is beautiful and there is lots to do within a relatively short drive. Brian and Angela were always quick to respond to my emails and were helpful and obviously take very good care of the property. I booked the largest lodge and there were 9 adults and 3 teenagers. The only thing I would say is that one family were a little cramped in the family room as the children are probably a little old to be doing bunk beds. But we were at capacity and aside from sharing the 2 bathrooms, we were very comfortable and had plenty of space for the 12 of us. It was lovely having 2 lounges. I hope to return given the opportunity and to have longer as we only stayed for 3 nights. Response: hi thanks for your review on our lodge we work very hard to keep them clean and decorated and the gardens kept so its good to get feedback the family room is only realy ment for 2 children and 2 adults but at a push it will take teenagers its also hard to find an area for dining that seats 12 comfortly we are always changing decor and fittings so people who return notice the changes and enjoy them so hopfully on your return there is something new for you to enjoy regards brian and angela

“modern spacious lodge with friendly owners” Booked for a large group of girls. The Accomodation was very modern and the cleanest property i have ever rented it was immaculate. There was everything you needed provided for your stay. The location was beautiful and very relaxing

“Fantastic place, loads of space in peaceful location.” Stayed here for a week at Easter with my husband, children and three Grandmas. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and with 2 lounges it was ideal when kids (and parents) wanted to watch their own tv or play on their xbox. Don't be fooled by the log cabin look - the interior is superb, plush and comfortable with lots of lovely modern touches. It will sleep 12 very comfortably. Set in the middle of the countryside it was fairly idyllic with plenty of room to play, play equipment and a bbq area with chiminea - we had to sit round a fire every evening, even when it snowed! Not too far from anywhere - we managed to see quite a bit of north wales and cheshire without spending hours in the car. Will definitely be going back. Great for extended families or groups.

“Idyllic Setting” We had a very enjoyable long weekend with family and friends. The setting was ideal for a large or small groups and we all enjoyed the super facilities inside and out.
