The house is locked just two minutes’ walk from the beaches (Calarena, Cozze), where, in the summertime (crowed by tourists, holidaymakers and bathers) and also in the very quiet and peaceful seasons of spring and autumn, people love lying in the sun and enjoy bathing or swimming in the wonder Adriatic sea. With air conditioning and heating, the house is pretty, tidy, really very clean and provided with all the facilities you need; the kitchen is well supplied with household appliances. The terrace, with stunning views of the country, is furnished with a table and chairs. We shall place another table at your disposal to enable you to have breakfast al fresco in the sunny mornings. With 2 toilets and showers, and, on request two double beds, the house is suitable for families or 2 couples-family who journey together with plenty in the surroundings area to see and do. A lovely place to stay as a base for going exploring or just having a relaxing. Just 30 metres from the house, up the road, there is a mini market, open on Sunday, for any thing you might need. Opposite the mini market there is the bus stop and you can rely totally on the public transport, which once you know it goes from is reliable and cheap. There are some very good "focacceria" close by to and some cafes on the beach front. The house has easy access to all amenities, main road SS16 (E55), highways and airports.

The Puglia/Molise region
The Apulia region, situated in the south-eastern extremity of Italy is almost completely surrounded by the sea. All year around and particularly along the coasts the climate is wonderful. Apulia hides the most unexpected beauties and reveals the most varied range of jewels of art and nature: from the dazzling white of the characteristic “Trulli” (particularly Alberobello, “the famous city of Trulli”, named part of Unesco heritage) to the wonder of the Castellana Grottos (the most typical karst complex in Italy, where the Mother Nature during centuries has created suggestive alabaster concretions); from the numerous imposing castles (first among all the very beautiful Castel del Monte) to the white Arab style villages, from the solitary and varied beaches to the suggestive rough cliffs of the Gargano. But these are not all the beauties of Apulia to discover, there are many other tourist resorts to visit, and nor does its interest finish here. In fact, he who does not look for its folk-lore or he who does not taste its very special wines and its famous Mediterranean cooking excellence or he who does not experience the friendliness and hospitality of the Italians and, finally he who is unable to appreciate it in what is its most real and expressive aspect, does not really know this region yet.
Mola di Bari / Cozze area
Cozze, bathing centre of Mola di Bari, is situated along the Adriatic coasts and exactly in the heart of Apulia. You will be able to experience a typical Mediterranean climate and the influence of the Adriatic sea make the climate quite typical for a costal region: the summers are very long and hot; the autumns and springs are warmed by hot and dry winds which make the climate pleasant, it doesn’t rain frequently; normally the winters are mild and it snows rarely. Cozze, far only 5 minutes’ drive from Mola di Bari, ten minutes from Conversano, Polignano a Mare and 15 minutes from Monopoli, has easy access to all amenities including the local markets (very cheap),hypermarkets (Lidl, Auchan) and excellent restaurants for eating out; the surrounding area is beautiful and Cozze is strategically only 20 minutes’ drive from Castellana Grotte, 30 minutes from Alberobello, Bari (You can rich all these cities by public transport). Cozze represents the ideal point to start a fantastic tour discovering tastes and traditions of the middle of Apulia and further.
How to get there
The access is very easy.
By AIRPLANE and CAR or TAXI. From Brindisi or Bari airport, where you may to hire a car, or take a taxi, or bus; then main road SS 16 (E55) gate Conversano/Cozze.
By TRAIN and BUS. By National Train Company "Trenitalia" until Mola di Bari, then by Regional Bus Company until Cozze.
By CAR. From Napoli with highway A16, gate North Bari, then main road SS 16 (E55), gate Conversano/Cozze; from Pescara with highway A 14 gate North Bari, then main road SS 16 (E55), gate Conversano/Cozze; from Taranto with highway A14, gate Gioia del Colle, then main road SS direction Putignano, Castellana, Conversano, Cozze.
