Apartment Rio is a spacious self contained apartment on the 2 end floor of a large two story villa located in the area of Mokosica, Dubrovnik, close to Dubrovnik marina. The apartment, in its calm and picturesque surroundings, provides a perfect holiday home for a group of friends or a family with ample space and facilities for a maximum of 8 people. Apartment Rio has Air Conditioning and free WIFI.

The apartment is 120 SqM in total, comprising of; 4 bedrooms, lounge/dining room, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, balcony and terrace.

Bedrooms: There are 4 bedrooms, two of which are approx 15 SqM, and two are slightly smaller at 12 SqM. Two bedrooms contain Queen size beds and two bedroom contains two single sized beds (twin room). Each of the bedrooms contain wardrobes and other storage furniture for clothes and personal belongings.

Lounge/Dining Room: The spacious and comfortable lounge and dining area is approx 35 SqM. This room is bright and opens out onto the balcony. The room contains 3 sofas, easy chairs, coffee table, sideboard storage furniture, dining table and dining chairs. There is also a color television and a radio casette player in the longe area.

Kitchen: The well equipped kitchen contains all the items required to prepare and serve food - there is an electric oven and hob, microwave oven, sink, work surface, cupboards, toaster, kettle, and a washing machine. Also there are a plentiful supply of dishes, pans, cups, glasses and cutlery.

Bathrooms: There are two fully tiled bathrooms, both of a similar size. One of the bathrooms contains a shower and the other contains a bath. Both contain a w/c, wash basin - and one of the bathrooms contains a bidet and a washing machine.

Balcony: The balcony is located outside the lounge/dining area, and is accessed by a pair of large french doors. There is ample space for 8 people to sit in the sun and watch the boats go passed nearby.

Terrace: The spacious terrace is located outside the front door, and adjacent to the kitchen. This offers an excellent opportunity for alfresco dining and relaxing with a bottle or two of wine - there is a breathtaking 180 degree view of the landscape. Outdoor furniture has been provided for your use.

Other Facilites: Also, within the apartment, there is a washing machine, baby cot, hair dryer, iron with ironing board, bed linen and towels. Apartment Rio is a biker-friendly apartment with free and secure parking for up to 8 bikes.

There is lots to see and do in the local area. For guests looking for relaxation, the location of the apartment provides great opportunities for walking near the sea in a beautiful atmostphere of 15 century monasteries and glorious summer residences which hark back to the golden age of the Republic of Dubrovnik (15th - 16th century). There are an abundance of gardens in the area with subtropical vegetation, and views of the area are stunning, whatever the time of day.

Dubrovnik Marina, home to several hundred yachts and motor boats of all sizes, is just 25 - 30 minutes walk from the apartment.The area is open to visitors to look around and see the boats, and use some of the facilities. There is a supermarket within the marina complex, and a bar restaurant with a large open dining terrace adjacent to a swimming pool - from here you can drink and dine whilst watching the boats enter the leave the marina.

Dubrovnik Old Town is approx 10km from the apartment and can easily be reached by the local bus No. 1a - the bus stop is just 50m from the apartment and buses stop there every 15 minutes - the bus ride takes approx 12 minutes to reach Pile Gate in the Old Town. You can also use a local taxi service if you prefer - this is easily arranged. The Old town provides a multitude of sightseeing oportunities - the town is rich in cultural and historical monuments and is included in UNESCO World Heritage List.

There is a well stocked supermarket and a kiosk 100 metres from the apartment.
