About the home

Sierra Vista Villa is located just a few minutes drive from many beaches such as Mojacar Playa, Garrucha and Puerto del Rey. Turre is a small village with every amenity needed, yet only a short drive to the larger resorts.

The villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out. The villa benefits from its own private pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a spacious patio with stunning mountain views, furnished with table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco.

With one double master bedroom and private 4 peice bathroom with shower over bath located on the top floor allowing access to the roof patios. A further two twin bedrooms on the ground floor and another full 4 piece bathroom with shower over bath. The house is fully air conditioned. The villa is ideal for families and couples alike, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The kitchen is fully equipped with both fridge/freezer and micro wave. Electric oven and hob and plenty of cupboard space. Every utensil you need is provided including plenty of tea towels. There are two trollies that can be taken outside if the BBQ is more your style of cooking.

Cots, highchairs and safety gates can be provided on request. Please note that cot linen is not provided for. Sierra Vista sleeps 6 adults comfortably. If there is a request for say four adults and four children please contact us with your request as it is possible to accommodate this type of group booking. The kitchen is well equipped but with a newly built BBQ and extended patio there is no need for anyone to be banished to the kitchen. There is newly fitted aircon throughout the villa and we respectfully ask that guests not leave this on when out or when the doors are open. There is a constant pleasant breeze that flows through the house when windows and doors are open and around the pool.

Further details outdoors:
Plenty of space around the pool for lounging about etc. Parking is off road or on road within the small cul de sac. Distant views of the sea from the solarium and overlooking cacti field and of course the beautiful mountains. The patio at the rear has been extended recently to incorporate raised flower beds and that all important BBQ to keep you all out of the kitchen and in the sunshine. There is plenty of lighting around the pool for enjoying those late night BBQ's and drinks. Even for an evening swim!

* Travel insurance is a must and is strongly recommended
* Young children and non swimmers must not be left unattended around the pool
* The pool area is covered with non-slip tiling but we strongly recommend not to run when the floor is wet
* The air conditioning is not covered in the rental rate. Key cards are available at £10 each.
* Breakages - please advise of any prior to your departure to prevent inconvenience to the next guests
* Pets
Where we have agreed to accommodate your pet/s at Sierra Vista for the duration of your stay please arrange to bring your own duvet covers. If this is a problem please let us know in advance of your stay. We respectfully ask that where pets are let on to the sofa/chairs that a blanket or other covering is used to help protect the material.

Conditions

All guests must ensure they have adequate travel insurance.
25% deposit on booking (non refundable) with balance paid 6 weeks prior to arrival date
property will be available from 3pm on arrival and we ask that all guests vacate the property by 11am on the day of departure.
No deposits are taken for breakages but we ask that guests inform our representative if a breakage occurs as it could affect the next guests' stay if not reported.

The Costa de Almeria region

The Costa Almeria is an unspoilt coastline in Spain with some of the country's most beautiful and rugged scenery. You can visit the Nijar natural park, or explore the arid landscape which receives less than 200mm of rainfall a year. This is a quiet area with only the odd village dotted around, making it the perfect area for exploring the true Spain.

Mojacar is a unique experience. Situated near the city of Almeria, it offers more than 17 kilometers of unspoilt beaches. The romantic old town of Mojacar, perched high on a hill with narrow kasbah streets and courtyards, overlooks Mojacar playa and the blue Mediterranean.

Turre is just in land from Mojacar which is easy to find whether you fly in to Almeria, Alicante or Murcia. All three airports are linked to Mojacar by motorways and very good dual carriageway roads. We regularly make these journeys in the following times:-

Almeria airport - 100Km - 45 mins by car
Alicante airport - 230Km - 2.45 hrs by car
Murcia San Javier airport - 200 Km - 1.45 hrs by car

“Want peace and quiet? - you got it.” Fabulous villa. Well designed, well positioned and clearly well cared for. Wonderfully peaceful, only the sound of the cicadas. and the occassional far off dog bark, to be heard. Close enough to Turre to stroll in. A least a couple of excellent restaurants there (Adelina and Piano Bar to name two and the pizzaria's good too). The villa is set in a quite cul-de-sac and overlooked only by the mountains. A perfect spot just to chill out. (And very good value too!) We love this part of the world and this is right up there with the best villa's with stayed in.

Thank you very much for the stay in your lovely home. Our middle son wanted to buy it, he said! Particularly fine was the swimming pool - the view of the mountains was so good poolside. It's a lovely peaceful location too, with no near neighbours at the back - I hope you can keep it like that for as long as possible! Mr & Mrs P.

Everything was lovely, we were very impressed with the villa and the care you have taken to make it a home from home stay.
