The villa is perfectly located for those wanting a private and secluded getaway yet is still only a 15 minute drive to the historic Moorish village of Mojacar and the sandy shore line of the Mediterranean coast.
The villa is set on two levels. The entrance to the villa is on the ground floor where you enter into the courtyard, terrace and pool area. On the ground floor you will find 1 double bedroom, a twin bedroom and also a shower room with WC. Stairs then lead you up into the main living area.
The living and dining area is very bright and spacious with windows on both sides. The living area has been tastefully and elegantly furnished. The double French doors leading from the lounge allow you to enjoy the amazing meandering views across the valley from the comfort of you own armchair. They also give you access to the terrace and pool area. The lounge has the use of a CD player and English TV.

Mojacar / Cortijo Grande area
The Valley of Cortijo Grande has become deservedly famous for its amazing surroundings and profuse vegetation. In the centre of the valley lies the 9 hole golf course flanked by mountains that rise to almost 1000m above sea level. The course itself is a true pleasure to play with the fairways and greens decorated and framed with citrus groves, fig and olive trees.
Cortijo Grande is the perfect location for golfers and non-golfers alike. Relax in the perfect countryside surroundings or take part in the many activities the Valley has to offer, such as horse riding, tennis and hiking over the impressive nature trails that stretch over 100 of acres of unspoilt parkland. And don’t forget, the beautiful beaches of Mojacar are only 10 minutes away!
Mojacar village is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful restaurants and bars.
The area has many archaeological sites revealing Phoenician, Roman and Carthaginian histories. Visits to the local markets are very popular: Mojacar on Wednesdays, Garrucha on Fridays and Vera on Saturdays.
How to get there
Almeria airport is only 45mins drive away. Majority of cheap airline fly in and out of Almeria. Easyjet, Monach and BA fly from most uk airports to Almeria.
Airport pickups can be arranged at reasonable rates. We do however recommend that you rent a car. This will give you total freedom to explore the beautiful Almeria coast.

Further details outdoors: The pool area is very spacious & secluded and has the most fantastic views. There is outside furniture including sunloungers for you to relax in comfort. You also have use of a barbecuing area for those laid-back summer evenings.
