The apartment and the Marina de la Torre golf course development are on the coast between Garrucha (a Spanish fishing town famed for its incredible seafood restaurants and Garrucha prawns, and Mojacar Playa (an established holiday destination). Mojacar Peublo, a beautiful whitewashed hilltop village with cobbled streets, is a five minute drive away (or catch the local bus). The Costa Almeria is on the South East coast of Spain but is very different to its more established neighbours, the Costa del Sol and the Costa Blanca. It offers a chance to experience the real Spain!

Mojacar / Marina Playa area
MOJACAR is an ideal coastal golf course as it has something for everyone. The Marina de la Torre course is a par 72 - 18 hole course designed by Ramon Espinosa and is situated overlooking the beach. Nine of the holes give fantastic uninterrupted views of the mountains. The course has been built to a high standard and is very well maintained. There is also a driving range, putting green and pro shop with all the usual services plus a delightful bar and restaurant. Wide open and forgiving fairways with 3 lakes, enough sand to get you thinking and good greens all year round. A lot of hard work has gone into making this course a joy to play. The spectacular Par 5 3rd hole is a challenge, with the elevated tee at 65 metres above the green and 483 metres long.
How to get there
Ryanair, Easyjet, BA into Alicante, Murcia or Almeria. Alicante is two hours, Murcia is one hour and Almeria is 40 minutes. Car hire recommended is www.doyouspain.com.
