The Costa de Almeria region
The region of Almeria is one of the most charming and unspoilt areas in south-eastern Spain. Enjoying the sunniest and warmest climate in the whole of Europe, it is known as ‘El Rincon del Embrujo’ or ‘the corner of enchantment’. This is the real Spain!
Mojacar / Marina Playa area
Cortijo Grande is the perfect location for golfers and non-golfers alike. Relax in the perfect countryside surroundings or take part in the many activities the Valley has to offer, such as horse riding, tennis and hiking over the impressive nature trails that stretch over 100 of acres of unspoilt parkland. And don’t forget, the beautiful beaches of Mojacar are only 15 minutes away!
Mojacar village is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful restaurants and bars.
The area has many archaeological sites revealing Phoenician, Roman and Carthaginian histories. Visits to the local markets are very popular: Mojacar on Wednesdays, Garrucha on Fridays and Vera on Saturdays.
Garrucha is the nearest town, about three miles away. It is a little fishing port with interesting fish and street markets.

Almeria airport is only 50 mins drive away.
Majority of cheap airline fly in and out of Almeria.
Easyjet, Monach and BA fly from most UK airports to Almeria.
Airport pickups can be arranged at reasonable rates. We do however recommend that you rent a car. This will give you total freedom to explore the beautiful Almeria coast.

Further details indoors: The villa has a modern and stylish décor and has air conditioning throughout. The accommodation is arranged over one floor. A covered terrace leads into the villa’s open-plan living area. The lounge overlooks the pool and enjoys lovely sea views. It is attractively furnished with an L-shaped sofa, recliner armchair, a large flat screen television with English TV and a DVD player. French windows lead straight out to the pool. The dining area has seating for six.
The separate fully fitted kitchen has a large American-style fridge, a double range cooker and oven, drinking water on tap and is fully kitted out with all the appliances from home including kettle, microwave, toaster etc. There is also a separate external utility / laundry room.
The master bedroom has a double bed and is air conditioned. The second room is a twin bedroom and is also air conditioned. The bathroom is in-between the two bedrooms and is fitted in a modern and attractive style. There is a second external fully fitted modern bathroom with a walk-in shower at the side of the house, ideal for when lounging in the garden and using the pool.
Further details outdoors: The villa is surrounded by gardens, mature trees and outside seating areas that provide the perfect spot for sunbathing, relaxing and enjoying the views. Sun loungers are also provided.
At the front of the property is a lawned garden surrounding the free-form swimming pool, which features an attractive central island with plants and a tropical palm tree. An overflow ledge leads from the main pool into a large Jacuzzi. The pool also has an in-built swimming machine, ideal for swimmers who want to workout against a current!
The lawned garden leads round to a vine-covered terrace with a spacious eating area equipped with a built-in barbecue and an outdoor sink, making it a fantastic spot for dining outdoors.
The villa is accessed through electric gates and there is ample off-street parking for several cars at the back of the property.
The ideal location of this villa along with its attractive interior, sea views and fabulous pool makes this a great choice for a holiday in the sun.
