Casa Lita is a delightful two bedroomed, two bathroom villa (one en-suite), with its own private swimming pool. The property is situated in a semi rural location just outside the typical Spanish village of Turre.
The villa has been decorated to a high standard with a homely feel to it and boasts all the facilities that you would expect from a luxury property including air-con, satellite TV with receiving UK channels, CD & DVD players. The villa enjoys panoramic mountain views of the Sierra Cabrera in all directions from its numerous secluded sun terraces.
Superb restaurants and relaxed Spanish bars can be found in the local village, but for a more busier evening, Mojacar is only a short 10 minute drive away.
Mojacar Playa with its sandy beaches & rugged shoreline, stretches for 9km and is filled with many bars shops and restaurants. It is situated beneath the historic village of Mojacar pueblo with its fantastic views extending as far as the eye can see in both directions, & with white washed houses and quaint cobbled streets.
Surrounded by the sea on one side and the magnificent mountains of the Sierra Cabrera to its rear, Mojacar paints an enchanting picture captured many times by local and visiting artists alike.
Mojácar is best know for its warm sunny climate. It has more than 3000 hours of sun per year. The medium yearly temperature is around 20 °C. Winter is practically non-existent, it passes as a long autumn or spring, with the marine temperature higher than the air temperature.
For keen golfers, the famous Desert Springs Golf resort is only a short drive away, as well as other courses including, The Valle del Este Golf Resort, Marina Golf and Cortijo Grande Golf.

Mojacar holds one of the best records in the whole of Spain for warm, dry weather. Winter temperatures average 12 degrees, while the summer months can reach at lease 25 degrees at least.
Superb golf courses in the region includes; Desert Springs and Valle De Este (short drive from the accommodation).
Mojacar / Turre area
Mojacar is a beautiful Moorish town which from a distance looks as if it has been untouched for centuries. It has a distinctly fairytale quality with its clusters of ancient whitewashed buildings clinging to the sides of the mountain. Mojacar is the largest, but unspoilt, popular tourist centre of this south-eastern corner of Spain.
For visitors, the old town is a delightful labyrinth of winding, cobbled streets with magnificent views to the mountains and sea, with wonderful bars and tasteful restaurants. Just two kilometres away, down at the seafront, you are in another world of modern day tourism with bustling beaches flanked by coffee shops, international bars and restaurants.
Residential buildings are restricted to only two storeys and hotels cannot be built higher than four floors. The result is lively and offers plenty of activities for the foreign holidaymaker whilst retaining its traditional Spanish charm and character.
In Mojacar the beach is 17 kilometres long and a large part of which is a designated area of natural beauty. It is estimated that 9 kilometres is developed but uncrowded; specific beach points also have the benefit of planted palm trees and is so unspoiled. Recently, three European Blue Flag Awards have been awarded on the beaches for cleanliness.
Turre is ostensibly a small village, which is growing rapidly. Situated to the north of the Sierra Cabrera on the river Aguas. It has one main street and the usual meandering side streets you expect in small Spanish villages. With many shops, restaurants, coffee shops, tapas and Internet cafes, it has much to offer to local residents. Fridays is market day in the heart of the village where you can purchase fresh local produce and bartar for a bargain!!
Neighbouring Vera, only a 10 minute drive from the property, is home to a traditional Bull ring which still hosts regular performances. It also has a great water-park which is ideal for families and suitable for all ages.
Granada is only an hour's drive away and during the winter season is an ideal place for skiing.
How to get there
Turre is situated in land only five minutes drive away from the neighbouring resort of Mojacar, which is signposted and easy to find when flying into the three main airports of Almeria, Alicante or Murcia. All of these three airports are linked to Mojacar by very good motorways / dual carriageway roads. Journey times are as follows;
Almeria airport - 100Km - 45 mins by car Alicante airport - 230Km - 1.45 hrs by car Murcia San Javier airport - 200 Km - 1.20 hrs by car (new toll road)

CAR HIRE We have always found Europa or Auriga to be the cheapest car hire, & their vehicles are always of a nearly new standard. Both of these companies will accept bookings on line, or can be booked on arrival at the airport.

The lounge consists of two sofa's (one being a double sofa bed), chandelier lights, decorative curtains & rugs, a DVD player, CD player & Satellite TV.
There is a dining area which seats six people, with patio doors leading to the sun terraces and pool.
The Kitchen is fully fitted with fridge/freezer, and microwave. There is a laundry room just off of the kitchen with a washing machine and ironing equipment.
The main double bedroom leads to a private sun terrace and has an en-suite shower room, and an additional pull out under bed. Bedroom 2 is a twin room. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.
The en-suite contains a shower, and the main bathroom has a bath & showering facilities.
Further details outdoors: The large exterior garden is completely secluded and private and has orange, lemon, & apricot trees and various plants & shrubs which add to its attractiveness.
The property has 3 large private patio areas (including a sun roof terrace) and the large pool (8mx5m) has a built-in- seating area, surrounded by a terrace of sun loungers.
There is an external dining area with a gas BBQ to sit and relax with a glass of wine and admire the panoramic views & sunsets.
