Casa Lita is a delightful three bedroomed, two bathroom villa (one en-suite), with its own private swimming pool. The property is nicely situated in a semi rural location just outside the typical Spanish village of Turre, with both Boules and Tennis Courts available, situated at the entrance of the development.

The villa has been decorated to a high standard with a homely feel to it and boasts all the facilities that you would expect from a luxury property including; Air-con, Spanish Digital and Satellite TV with receiving UK channels, CD & DVD players.

We are pleased to offer a meet and greet service as standard to our guests and representation is on hand to answer any questions or queries that you may have. Welcome packs can also be made available upon request.

Superb restaurants and relaxed Spanish bars can be found in the local village of Turre, but for a more busier evening, Mojacar is only a short 10 minute drive away. Mojacar Playa with its sandy beaches & rugged shoreline, stretches for 9km and is filled with many bars shops and restaurants. It is situated beneath the historic village of Mojacar pueblo with its fantastic views extending as far as the eye can see in both directions, & with white washed houses and quaint cobbled streets.

Mojacar is also best know for its warm sunny climate. It has more than 3000 hours of sun per year. The medium yearly temperature is around 20 °C. Winter is practically non-existent, it passes as a long autumn or spring, with the marine temperature higher than the air temperature.

For keen golfers, five golf courses are easily accessible. The famous Desert Springs Golf resort is only a short drive away; as well as an aray of other first class courses including; Cortijo Grande, Marina Golf, Playa Macenas and Valle del Este!

The villa has been decorated to a very high standard with a 'home from home' feel, and has air conditioning (both cool & warm air) throughout & a security alarm system, with window shutters, mosquito nets and rejas fitted to all windows and doors as standard.

The lounge consists of two sofa's (one being a double sofa bed), chandelier lights, decorative curtains & rugs, Widescreen TV, Spanish digital & UK Satellite broadcast facilities, together with a DVD and CD music system.

The dining area appropriately seats six people, with patio doors leading to the privately enclosed sun terraces and pool, with mountain views.

The Kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hotplate, fridge/freezer and microwave. The separate laundry room just off of the kitchen has a washing machine and ironing equipment.

The main double bedroom, with fitted wardrobes benefits leads to a private sun terrace, via patio doors and has an en-suite shower room, with wash basin and WC.

The main bathroom in the property has bath & showering facilities.

Bedroom two is a twin room, with fitted wardrobes. Bedroom three is a double room

All bedrooms benefit from ceiling fans, complementing air-conditioning.

All floors are tiled.

The large exterior private garden is completely secluded and apricot, lemon and orange trees and various plants & shrubs have been planted, which add to its attractiveness.

The property has "three large private patio areas" (including a sun roof terrace) with a large curved pool (8mx5m); with built-in seating area, tiled in aqua green; appropriately surrounded by a terrace of statues, umbrella's and sun loungers. All floors are tiled.

There is also an external dining area with a gas BBQ to sit and relax with a glass of wine to admire the panoramic views & sunsets.

Small private drive access is available with space for 1 car. The property is fully secure and gated and highly recommended.

The Costa de Almeria region

The Costa de Almería is Europe's warmest and sunniest region with over 3000 hours of sunshine a year and is is bordered by the provinces of Granada, Murcia, and the Mediterranean Sea.

Mojacar holds one of the best records in the whole of Spain for warm, dry weather. Winter temperatures average 12 degrees, while the summer months can reach at lease 25 degrees at least.

Superb golf courses in the region includes; Desert Springs Cortijo Grande, Marina Golf, Playa Macenas and Valle del Este.

The Mojacar / Turre area

Mojacar is a beautiful Moorish town which from a distance looks as if it has been untouched for centuries. It has a distinctly fairytale quality with its clusters of ancient whitewashed buildings clinging to the sides of the mountain. Mojacar is the largest, but unspoilt, popular tourist centre of this south-eastern corner of Spain.

For visitors, the old town is a delightful labyrinth of winding, cobbled streets with magnificent views to the mountains and sea, with wonderful bars and tasteful restaurants. Just two kilometres away, down at the seafront, you are in another world of modern day tourism with bustling beaches flanked by coffee shops, international bars and restaurants.

Residential buildings are restricted to only two storeys and hotels cannot be built higher than four floors. The result is lively and offers plenty of activities for the foreign holidaymaker whilst retaining its traditional Spanish charm and character.

In Mojacar the beach is 17 kilometres long and a large part of which is a designated area of natural beauty. It is estimated that 9 kilometres is developed but uncrowded; specific beach points also have the benefit of planted palm trees and is so unspoiled. Recently, three European Blue Flag Awards have been awarded on the beaches for cleanliness.

Turre is ostensibly a small village, which is growing rapidly. Situated to the north of the Sierra Cabrera on the river Aguas. It has one main street and the usual meandering side streets you expect in small Spanish villages. With many shops, restaurants, coffee shops, tapas and Internet cafes, it has much to offer to local residents.
Fridays is market day in the heart of the village where you can purchase fresh local produce and bartar for a bargain!!

Neighbouring Vera, only a 10 minute drive from the property, is home to a traditional Bull ring which still hosts regular performances. It also has a great water-park which is ideal for families and suitable for all ages.

Granada is only an hour's drive away and during the winter season is an ideal place for skiing.

Turre is situated in land only five minutes drive away from the neighbouring resort of Mojacar, which is signposted and easy to find when flying into the three main airports of Almeria, Alicante or Murcia. All of these three airports are linked to Mojacar by very good motorways / dual carriageway roads. Journey times are as follows;

Almeria airport - 100Km - 45 mins by car
Alicante airport - 230Km - 1.45 hrs by car
Murcia San Javier airport - 200 Km - 1.20 hrs by car (New Toll Road)

CAR HIRE
We have always found Europa or Auriga to be the cheapest car hire, & their vehicles are always of a nearly new standard. Both of these companies will accept bookings on line, or can be booked on arrival at the airport.
