Tranquil setting in the hills just outside the authentic Spanish village of Bedar which offers all amenities, good restaurants and tapas bars. Approximately 20mins from the popular coastal resorts of Mojacar and Garrucha.

The Costa de Almeria region

Almeria, said to have the only surviving desert in Europe, receives more sunshine than any other province in Spain, approx 260days a year. It has a long stretch of unspoiled coastline stretching from Almeria to Aquilas and beyond, with many secluded beaches, coves, ruins, dramatic rock formations and rocky outcrops for fishing, bird watching, walking and climbing. Stable temperatures provides a warm sub-tropical climate to enjoy a relaxing holiday, whether lazing by the pool, playing on the beach or soaking in the atmosphere of the many beach bars along the playa.

Mojacar / Bedar area

Bedar, a south facing, charming and relatively unspoiled village is a pretty and tranquil area. The village has a number of restaurants and inexpensive traditional tapas bars, local market weekly, bakery for fresh bread daily, small supermarket, chemist and bank.

There are visible remnants of the mines built in the 19th century to exploit the abundant mineral deposits in the area. Their old railway tracks making ideal hiking routes.

Close by there are many other interesting places to visit; the Tabernas desert where many films and commercials have been filmed ( the latest being David Beckham shooting the Pepsi commercial) which has now two closely linked theme parks; Fort Bravo-Texas-Hollywood and Oasys-Mini-Hollywood and Zoo. There are also the Alhambra Palace in Granada, the caves of Sorbas, Roquetas del Mar, Aqua Park and many more attractions including five golf courses within easy reach.

3. Bedroom three with en suite and double bed. Central heating and fitted wardrobes. Double doors leading to summer room with fully fitted kitchen, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. This room also has two single beds
