'Oasis Del Mar' is a beautiful first floor apartment completed in 2005. As this is a 2 storey building, the first floor apartments are quieter (because there is no-one walking about or moving furniture above) and they provide a roof terrace which is in the sun all day long. Extremely well appointed and just 100 metres from the beach. The property benefits from 2 large swimming pools and a small “kiddies” pool.
The apartment is less than 5 minutes walking distance from local cafes, bars, restaurants, supermarket and the shops on Mojacar Playa. Within 10 minutes drive are two golf courses with a further four about 40 minutes away.

The Costa de Almeria region
The region of Almeria is one of the most charming and unspoilt areas in south-eastern Spain. Enjoying the sunniest and warmest climate in the whole of Europe, it is known as ‘El Rincon del Embrujo’ or ‘the corner of enchantment’. The coast is completely unspoilt. To the east of Almeria is the rugged and desolate coast of the Cabo de Gata - Nijar natural park. This is an arid desert landscape and the annual rainfall here is less than 200mm. It is sparsely populated, few villages and a very low population density. Visitors feel a sense of exploration here as many of the coves can only be reached on foot. This area is particularly popular with nature lovers and back-packers.
This is the driest part of Europe with approximately 320 days of sunshine each year, The Almeria region is agricultural, growing a variety of produce such as tomatoes, lettuces, melons, lemons, oranges and olives. This is one of the last parts of Spain to be developed, and does not have the mass tourism of the other 'costas'. This is the real Spain!
Granada is within easy driving distance for those who want to spend a day at the fabulous Alhambra Palace.
Mojacar / Mojacar Playa area
Mojacar consists of 2 distinct locations some 3 kilometres apart. This apartment is situated on the Playa (beach) which boasts 10 kilometres of uncluttered sandy beaches, dotted with beach bars, shops, restaurants, mini golf and children's' play areas. Set back from the beach front are residential properties and a few hotels, but strict local laws have managed to protect the coast against becoming a high rise concrete jungle like the surrounding Costas.
Mojacar Pueblo (village) is an ancient village of sugar cube white buildings clinging to the side of a hill. It offers breathtaking views and tiny streets with markets, churches and shops galore.
There is a fabulous Water Park just a short drive away. Two 18 hole golf courses are within 10 minutes drive - with a further four within 40 minutes, including the Internationally famous Desert Springs. Horse riding, cycle hire and quad bikes are available locally and a variety of water activities, including scuba diving, operate during the season. The mountains backing the Playa provide great walking in the cooler months.

Several budget airlines fly into Almeria including Monarch, Easyjet, BMIBaby and Jet2.com. Others such as Ryanair fly into Murcia and Alicante which are 2 hours from Mojacar.
