The Costa de Almeria region
The region of Almeria is one of the most charming and unspoilt areas in south-eastern Spain. Enjoying the sunniest and warmest climate in the whole of Europe, it is known as ‘El Rincon del Embrujo’ or ‘the corner of enchantment’. This is the real Spain!!
Mojacar / Mojacar Playa area
Mojacar village is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful restaurants and bars.
The area has many archaeological sites revealing Phoenician, Roman and Carthaginian histories. Visits to the local markets are very popular: Mojacar on Wednesdays, Garrucha on Fridays and Vera on Saturdays.
There is a water park 15 minutes drive away. A choice of 5 golf courses within 25 minutes drive. There is a zoo 25 minutes away. Also there a 2 western cowboys sets from the spaghetti westerns to visit.
How to get there
Almeria airport is only 55mins drive away. Majority of cheap airline fly in and out of Almeria. Easyjet, Monach and BA fly from most uk airports to Almeria.
Airport pickups can be arranged at reasonable rates. We do however recommend that you rent a car. This will give you total freedom to explore the beautiful Almeria coast.

Further details indoors: This annex is an extension on the lower part of an existing villa. The annex has its own private access and has exclusive rights to the pool and terraces. The main villa will not be in use whilst the annex is rented out. So you are guaranteed a noise free and fully private property.
The living accommodation is all on wall level. Which comprises of a lounge with great sea views. The lounge is furnished with two sofas, English TV, DVD player, stereo and it is also air-conditioned.
The kitchen comes fitted with granite work-tops with all the modern conveniences including a microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer, oven and hob, etc.
There are two spacious bedrooms both with built in wardrobes. The master bedroom has a double bed, is air-conditioned and also contains a safe.
The second bedroom has two single beds and comes with a ceiling fan. Both bedrooms have sea views.
The bathroom again is spacious and come complete with a full bath with shower.
Further details outdoors: The south facing terraced area captures the sun throughout all of the day and boasta exceptional views across Mojacar playa. The terraced area is very spacious and comes equipped with an outside dining table and chairs set, sun loungers, shower and a BBQ. The pool is roughly 8m x 4m and is perfect for cooling off and enjoying a refreshing swim.
This property is ideally located for holidays as it is in a very peaceful and quiet area yet is only a few minutes’ walk down to the beach, restaurants, cafes, bars etc…
Please note that the property is in an elevated position and is just over 300m walk down a windy and steep road to the sea front. It is less than a 40 second drive down but is not suitable for people with issues with walking.
This property also comes with a private parking bay.
