The Costa de Almeria region
The region of Almeria is charming and unspoilt. This area boats one of the sunniest and warmets climates in Europe! It is known as ‘El Rincon del Embrujo’ or ‘the corner of enchantment’ by the locals. Relaxation and finding a corner of unspoilt Spain; this is indeed the real Spain!
Mojacar / Cortijo Grande area
Cortijo Grande is the perfect location for golfers and non-golfers alike. Relax in the perfect countryside surroundings or take part in the many activities the Valley has to offer, such as horse riding, tennis and hiking over the impressive nature trails that stretch over 100 of acres of un spoilt parkland. And don’t forget, the beautiful beaches of Mojacar are only 15 minutes away
Mojacar village is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful restaurants and bars.
The area has many archaeological sites revealing Phoenician, Roman and Carthaginian histories. Visits to the local markets are very popular: Mojacar on Wednesdays, Garrucha on Fridays and Vera on Saturdays.
Garrucha is the nearest town, about three miles away. It is a little fishing port with interesting fish and street markets.
How to get there
Almeria airport is only 45mins drive away.
Majority of cheap airline fly in and out of Almeria.
Easyjet, Monach and BA fly from most uk airports to Almeria.
Airport pickups can be arranged at reasonable rates. We do however recommend that you rent a car. This will give you total freedom to explore the beautiful Almeria coast.

Further details indoors: The lounge is very large with three sofas. Within the lounge there is English TV and a DVD player with access on to the rear terrace and pool area.
To the left of the reception room is the newly fitted kitchen which is fitted with all the appliances from home including, oven, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher etc. From the kitchen you then access the bright and spacious dining room which also opens out on to the pool area.
The master double bedroom which is also on the ground floor has the benefit of a large en suite full bathroom and access via patio doors on to the pool area.
Downstairs there is also a further shower room and WC.
Upstairs there are three other bedrooms with two twins and another double room. Also upstairs is the family bathroom with full bath and shower and WC.
Further details outdoors: Outside you will find a large swimming pool which is perfect for children as it does not get too deep. There is plenty of space around the pool to relax and sunbathe in total privacy.
For relaxing and eating outside there is a covered area for when the sun gets too hot and plenty of open terracing. There is also a large BBQ, ideal for those hot summer nights.
The villa is perfectly located for those wanting a private and secluded getaway yet is still only a 15 minute drive to the historic Moorish village of Mojacar and the sandy shore line of the Mediterranean coast.
