This spacious gated property is split into 2 separate large fully equipped 4 bedroom villas. Making it ideal for 1 large group or for 2 families looking to holiday together but with their own private space. The entire property has been tastefully furnished with Spanish and Moorish influences throughout complete with modern bathrooms.
The property is accessed through the main gates and you are immediately welcomed by the large and impressive pool which is more than adequate for 16 guests.
The pool sits in the middle of a large courtyard which is formed by the 2 villas.
Both villas are accessed via the courtyard with villa 1 directly in front of you and villa 2 is to the left.

The Costa de Almeria region
The region of Almeria is charming and unspoilt. This area boasts one of the sunniest and warmest climates in Europe! it is known as ‘El Rincon del Embrujo’ or ‘the corner of enchantment’ by the locals. Relaxation and finding a corner of unspoilt beauty,this is indeed the real Spain!
Mojacar / Cortijo Grande area
Mojacar village is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful restaurants and bars.
The area has many archaeological sites revealing Phoenician, Roman and Carthaginian histories. Visits to the local markets are very popular: Mojacar on Wednesdays, Garrucha on Fridays and Vera on Saturdays.
How to get there
Almeria airport is only 45mins drive away. Majority of cheap airline fly in and out of Almeria. Easyjet, Monach and BA fly from most uk airports to Almeria.
Airport pickups can be arranged at reasonable rates. We do however recommend that you rent a car. This will give you total freedom to explore the beautiful Almeria coast.

Further details indoors: Both villas have their own fully fitted kitchens, lounge / dining areas, bathrooms and entrances. Each lounge is equipped with their own independent English TV’s, DVD players and music systems. Each room has its own fan.
Villa 1 has 2 twin rooms upstairs each with their own double door balcony overlooking the pool and views across the valley. Upstairs there is a WC and shower room. The downstairs bedrooms consist of 1 twin and 1 double with views to the pool. There is also a bathroom complete with full bath and separate shower cubicle.
Villa 2 has 2 twin rooms downstairs each with their own en suite shower rooms. The third bedroom downstairs is a large double room which also has a single bed and also has its own en suite bathroom with bath and separate shower. This room along with the next door twin room have double doors that lead out on to a spacious lower terrace with views across the valley.
A beautiful iron staircase leads you upstairs to the lounge / dining and kitchen area again with double doors leading out on to a huge upper terrace perfect for the whole party to eat and relax.
Further details outdoors: Throughout the property there are numerous table and chairs for eating and relaxing outside and enough sunloungers to cater for everyone. There is also access to a gas BBQ.
For those wanting to really relax this property has an onsite caretaker who can also accommodate any catering requirements (not included within the rental rate). Her Paellas’ are superb!!!
Cortijo Grande is the perfect location for golfers and non-golfers alike. Relax in the perfect countryside surroundings or take part in the many activities the Valley has to offer such as, horse riding, tennis and hiking over the impressive nature trails that stretch over 100 of acres of unspoilt parkland. Don’t forget the beautiful beaches of Mojacar are only 10 minutes away!
