The apartment has been furnished to a high standard and is complete with air conditioning throughout.
This property consists of a comfortable lounge with sofa bed, table and chairs etc. plus Sky TV. One large double bedroom containing en-suite bathroom, fitted wardrobes with safe deposit box and patio doors leading to balcony overlooking large shared pool. Second bedroom with two single beds and fitted wardrobes. Separate good size full bathroom, fully fitted kitchen, which is complete with hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave/oven, washing machine, etc.
Leading from balcony is spiral staircase leading to large private roof terrace with sun loungers, parasol etc. This terrace affords excellent panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, Mojacar Village, Marina de la Torre golf course and Sea.
Beneath the apartment is a secure underground parking bay and storage room containing 4 full sets of golf clubs - these are available to all our guests for a small charge.

The apartment overlooks Marina de la Torre 18 hole golf course which is a pay and play golf course (no membership required) and is suitable for all handicaps. The golf course also has a driving range and a pitch and put area and a delightful bar / restaurant - all within 2 minute walk from the property.
To save golfers taking their own equpment, we can provide 4 full sets of golf clubs - these are available to all our guests for a small charge.

The Costa de Almeria region
Almeria is a fantastic up and coming town and the commercial capital of the area. It is well worth a visit, being only about 45 mins drive from the apartment, with a vibrant port area its own beach area and large range of British and European shops. It also boasts a fine moorish castle much like the Alambra in Granada. Around the castle is the historic quarter with quaint walks and alleyways. Almeria also has a football team that has recently been promoted to La Liga the Spanish premiership. So they play host to top matches including Real Madrid and Barcelona. Almeria is also a gateway to other areas of Spain and Africa. There are ferries to Morocco and North Africa and The rail link to Granada opens up the Sierra Nevada and ski resorts and the Costa Del Sol.
A short trip along the coast brings you to the mountain coastline of the Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve, offering secluded beaches and coves. Whether it is sailing, fishing, bowling, tennis, golf or water sports that takes your fancy or simply relaxing on an un-crowded beach soaking up the sun - you'll find it all and more in and around Mojacar.
The Mojacar area
Mojacar Village - This is a must to visit with it's Moorish architecture, white walls and cobbled streets. There are fantastic views as it sits atop a hillside remote from the Mojacar sea front. Follow the narrow streets to the fountains where locals collect the spring water, then sit at one of the many bars and watch the sun set, have a meal or try the tapas.
Mojacar boasts a 17km beach and has an average temperature of 20 degrees and sunshine for over 320 days a year. Winter is practically non-existent, it passes as a long autumn or spring, with the marine temperature higher than the air temperature. It is probably the last unspoilt Spanish resort, without high rise hotels and apartments and as such you can always get a view of the sea and the mountains.
There are many bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and the beach is never crowded due to its size. Supermarkets and shops are within 2km and a small Spar supermarket is located within 5 minutes walk.
Being of Moorish decent there are many historic places to visit from buildings to natural parks. Nearest airport is Almeria about 45 minutes, Alicante is 2 hours on good motorway.
Mojacar is an ancient Moorish village perched on the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera Mountains overlooking the Mediterranean coastline. This legendary town, is aptly named and famous throughout Spain as El Rincon del Embrujo, “The Corner of Enchantment”. Visible from many miles away, the distinctive whitewashed sugar cube houses stacked one upon another separated by twisting cobbled streets, winding steps and old arches, offer a surprise around every corner. Restaurants, bars and art & craft shops lay waiting to be discovered along with the hospitality of the friendly locals.
Although the town remains the same as it has for centuries, the relatively recent development of Mojacar Playa, a stretch of wide sandy beaches awarded the EEC blue flag for cleanliness, offers many of the features of a holiday resort including many fine restaurants, bars, hotels and shops catering for all tastes.
As well as Golf, the area boasts many sports, in Garrucha just 1km away at the marina you can book excursions for fishing trips, boat trips and jet ski's. Along Mojacar beach there is an area for wind surfing, banana boat rides, surfing etc. There are also areas where you can drive onto the beach with a picnic and not see another person. There is also walking and mountain bike riding available in the surrounding hills. Scuba diving lessons or dives are available at 3 different locations and horse riding is quite popular. Fishing is allowed from the beach in certain places with a local permit. Tennis is available approx. 2 minutes from the apartment.
Garrucha Fishing town 3/4 mile, Mojacar Pueblo (Old town) 2 miles, Aqua-park (Vera) is 10 mins by car, Go-karting 5 Mins by car, Commercial Centre 5 mins by car. Cabo de Gata (Natural park) 12 miles, Sorbas caves 45 minutes drive. Nijar (for beautiful ceramics) is approx 30 mins drive.
