Lovely first floor one bedroom apartment in an exclusive complex of just 24 apartments set in lush tropical gardens with a large secluded swimming pool, offering a relaxing retreat in the heart of Mojacar Playa. This traditional Spanish apartment is fully equipped and has a sunny south-facing terrace with built-in barbecue.

Situated in a sought after, tranquil area of Mojacar Playa, the lovely sandy beach and all amenities, including shops, bars and restaurants are only a short walk away. This apartment offers an excellent location for your holiday in Costa Almeria.

The complex is ideally located in a quiet residential area yet central for all amenities. Many of the apartments in the complex are owned and occupied by members of the local community, giving a quieter more traditional ambience to your accommodation.

The Costa de Almeria region

Mojacar is situated in the south east corner of Spain, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, with spectacular landscape of mountains, desert plains and at the same time, many coves and beaches. This part of Almeria is an engaging and romantic undiscovered corner of Spain with a perfect all year round climate and approx. 300 days of sun per year. The old town which is a little inland, is perched high on a hill with white washed houses and cobbled streets overlooking the sea and long sandy beaches. With its Moorish appearance and commanding views, Mojacar will completely captivate you.

There are more than 5 kms of beach front, many with the EEC blue flag and also 12 kms of virgin beaches and coves, reaching the borders of the Cabo de Gata natural park with many walking opportunities. Mojacar is the most cosmopolitan place in the region with wonderful outdoor markets and endless varieties of restaurants both Spanish and other nationalities from simple tapas bars to haute cuisine.

Other attractions include Mini Hollywood, water park at Garrucha, tennis, cycling, horse riding, fishing, diving, quad biking treks, variety of watersports, historic towns to visit. There are also a number of fist class golf courses in and around Mojacar to suit both the novice and the professional, including Marina de la Torre, Valle del Este and Desert Springs, the only desert course in Spain.

Situated in a sought after, tranquil area of Mojacar, the lovely sandy beach and all amenities, including shops, bars and restaurants are only a short walk away. The beaches stretch for miles with some being unspoilt and others more commercialised with numerous beach bars and restaurants to visit.

A short 10 minute walk brings you to one of the most popular beaches in Mojacar offering a wide variety of watersports and safe bathing, and a selection of beach bars with good quality food and drink at very reasonable prices. There are many restaurants and bars closeby and also the popular Pueblo Indalo complex offering nightly entertainment for all the family. There is a small supermarket within walking distance, and many larger supermarkets and a commercial centre are only a short drive away.

Almeria airport is approx. 45 minute drive with flights from Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Stansted and Luton. Monarch, Easyjet and BA fly from most main airports to Almeria.

Alicante airport is a 2 hour drive from the north offering flights from many local airports as well as the above. You can also fly to Murcia which is approx. an hour's drive from the north.

We can arrange airport pickups, however, we do recommend you hire a car for your stay in Mojacar Playa.

A peaceful and quiet location for a relaxing holiday. A lovely pool., which we had to ourselves. Yet a short stroll to the main beach with all the facilities one could wish, from quiet tavernas to Night club, restaurants and shops. All in walking distance or short drive / taxi. Kathy & Brian
