This is a truly stunning villa with a beautiful swimming pool and spectacular mountains views across to the sea. Finished to an excellent standard, each of the 3 bedrooms are en suite and the property has full air conditioning. It is set in an elevated position in the exclusive area of Cabrera at the top of the Cortijo Grande valley and yet is still only a fifteen minute drive to the sandy beaches of Mojacar.

Please not that Sierra Cabreera is an exlclusive area setup high on a mountain which is a 10 climb up a windy road.

The Costa de Almeria region

The region of Almeria is one of the most charming and unspoilt areas in south-eastern Spain. Enjoying the sunniest and warmest climate in the whole of Europe, it is known as ‘El Rincon del Embrujo’ or ‘the corner of enchantment’. This is the real Spain!

Mojacar village is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful
restaurants and bars.

The area has many archaeological sites revealing Phoenician, Roman and Carthaginian histories. Visits to the local markets are very popular: Mojacar on Wednesdays, Garrucha on Fridays and Vera on Saturdays.


Mojacar / Cabrera area

The property is fully air-conditioned and also has central heating, making it an ideal holiday home all year round. The setting is secluded, peaceful and private and yet the town of Turre with its shops and cafés is only a 10 minute drive away. There are also some excellent restaurants in Cabrera and Cortijo Grande that are only a few minutes drive away. Cortijo Grande also features a beautiful golf course, which is a five minute drive from the villa.


How to get there

Almeria airport is only 50 mins drive away.
Majority of cheap airline fly in and out of Almeria.
Easyjet, Monach and BA fly from most uk airports to Almeria.

Airport pickups can be arranged at reasonable rates. We do however recommend that you rent a car. This will give you total freedom to explore the beautiful Almeria coast.

The attractive entrance hall takes you through to a very large, bright and airy lounge, which is beautifully furnished with fantastic views. It has TV with English channels, DVD player, a stereo and a working fireplace.

Double doors lead out from the lounge onto a spacious terrace with amazing views. There are also two beautiful sets of wrought iron furniture set out on the terrace, making it a wonderful spot for dining and taking in the incredible views. Stairs lead from the terrace down to the pool area.

There is a large separate kitchen which is fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven and hob, kettle, coffee maker, blender etc. A door leads out from the kitchen to an external utility area for laundry.

There is also a separate dining area with seating for 8 and two windows offering commanding views over the valley.

Leading off from the entrance hall is a large master bedroom with an en suite shower room. The bedroom is very spacious with double doors leading out onto a private balcony with beautiful views over the pool and the valley.

The entrance hall has a staircase with a wrought iron balustrade that leads down to the lower level of the property. There is a second living area on the lower level with a sofa, a desk and a stereo. The second bedroom leads off the living area and it has a double bed with an en suite shower room. The third bedroom also leads off from the living area and is a twin room with an en suite bathroom. All the rooms on the lower level are bright and airy with beautiful views.

The property is fully air-conditioned and also has central heating, making it an ideal holiday home all year round.

Further details outdoors:
Outside the property, there is a staircase leading up to a fantastic roof terrace, complete with a beautiful octagonal tiled pergola. Underneath the shade of the pergola is a spacious lounge area with wrought iron sofas, chairs and a coffee table. This is a truly wonderful spot to relax and bask in the panoramic views. There is also an unshaded area of the roof terrace with loungers for sunbathing.

The large pool is surrounded by yet another terrace area where you can sunbathe on loungers and enjoy the views. At the front of the property there is also a large stone barbecue.
