If you want a noisy singles holiday then this is not the place for you. Slightly off set from Mojacar; closer to the bustling sea town of Garrucha, the Marina de la Torre apartments are located on the side of a hill overlooking the beautiful and unique Marina de la Torre golf course.
It is in a fantastic location to easily visit both Mojacar village and beach, the lovely town of Garrucha, and the water park at Vera.
It is a spacious and beautifully decorated and furnished and it not like your normal bog standard furnished apartment. We take great pride in our apartment as it is our Spanish home first and a holiday let second. We think you will find it better than other holiday apartments,

The Costa de Almeria region
The Costa Almeria coast is largely unspoilt. Almeria has numerous beaches as well as the rugged and natural coastline of the Cabo de Gata - Nijar natural park. The annual rainfall here is less than 200mm, and has a sparse population. There are plenty of beach coves that can be explored by back packers or nature lovers.
The West coast of Almeria has the developed tourist resorts of Roquetas de Mar and Aguadulce.
There are the naturist beaches of Vera, and a little further south is Mojacar which successfully combines the popular beach holiday with the hillside white village that is very popular with visitors to the area.
Mojacar / Marina De La Torre area
Mojacar Village has a culturally historic quality with its clusters of ancient whitewashed buildings perched to the sides of the Sierra Cabrera miountain and the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean, The streets and lanes feel electric with the bustle of this popular little mountain village. The village plaza has a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain ranges and coastine.
This village population has its origins from one of the most ancient communities in the whole of Spain going back more than 4,000 years. Ancient Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans and Moors settled here.
Along the coast in the opposit direction is the Spanish fishing town of Garrucha.
Garrucha is a beautiful and lively fishing town. It is known as the town of “sun and seafood”.
Garrucha has a large selection of restaurants and bars. Many excellent seafood restaurants found along the seafront serving fare that has been caught by local fishermen just that day.
It is very relaxing to stroll along the palm tree lined promenade. This spans about 2km along the length of town and over looks the beautiful beach Market stalls are often set up here are only broken up by the numerous children's play areas.
How to get there
By Air - Almeria aproximately 40 minutes away - served by Easy Jet and Ryanair, Murcia airport approximately 1 hour 15 mins away - served by Easy Jet and Ryanair. Alicante airport approximately 2 hours - served by a very large number of airlines. Almeria is the recommended airport because apart from being the closest to the apartment, it is also the easiest route - via the very quiet and easy to drive section of the E15 Motorway, The hire car company that I normally use is via www.carjet.co.uk, and they have convenient offices in Almeria Airport. Further details indoors: There is everything here that you could want from a family holiday home. The apartment is spacious, light, and airy, and is recently redecorated to make better use of the sun light that streams in from across the Sea and the Terrace. The bedrooms are also very spacious and have ample storage for clothes and suitcases etc. The lounge is beautifully furnished and is different from the run of the mill standard furniture packs that a lot of other apartments are furnished with. Although we don't have air conditioning. each of the habitable rooms are fitted with very effective ceiling fans.
Further details outdoors: Our apartment is located in the hill above the Marina de la Torre Golf course. It's elevated view means that it has lovely views from the apartment terrace of the gardens that serve the apartments but also fantastic sea views. You can spend hours just watching the fishing boats coming back from the fishing grounds to the south of Mojacar. The apartment is South West facing so we get wonderful sunny mornings and we see the Sun rising above the sea from out terrace - this is a beautiful sight. The apartments are served by two pools, and within .5km, there are 4 hotels with their own swimming pools - their management don't normally mind you using them ; especially if you buy an ice cream and a beer! Just past the hotels is the beach and the sea. The beach is wide and runs for approximately 8km. We have a young family and have added and additional and higher hand rail to the terrace so it is nice and safe.
