About the home

Luxurious Gated private 3 bedroom 3 bathroom villa, large private pool, gardens and various sun terraces, with mountains & distance sea views.
Within 10 minutes walk to the pretty village of Turre which has great restaurants, bars and shops, there is also a market on Friday mornings, and only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful golden beaches of Mojacar

When you walk through the front gates to the wooden garden door and open it...your reaction will be WOW!!! the views, gardens and pool are amazing, its just stunning.

Large lounge with leather sofas and special pieces of furniture/pictures from trips overseas, asian day bed when there are 8 people staying, also with air-conditioning, drinks fridge and Satellite TV receiving some HD UK channels. .

Fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher in addition to everything else you would expect in a modern kitchen.
Laundry room with washing machine, dryer and ironing equipment.

Enormous dining area terrace which can be enclosed on chiller mornings/ nights by blinds. Breakfast in the morning sun is especially good. This area also has additional lounge area with sofa and 2 arm chairs
Rear and front views of Mojacar village across an open cactus field, with mountains and some distant sea views.

The main bedroom leads to a private sun terrace with breathtaking views of mountains, mojacar old village and the sea. (see photos 8-11). Bedroom 2 is another double and bedroom 3 is a twin bedrooms the twin room has additonal pull out underbed. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and air conditioning. (all top quality mattresses). 3 bathrooms (2 with showers, 1 with bath/shower).

The Costa de Almeria region

Almería is a province of southern Spain. It is bordered by the provinces of Granada, Murcia, and the Mediterranean Sea. Its capital is Almería. Almería. It is an elevated mountain village displaying the traditional white colour from its earlier days. There is also a tourist resort to the south of the town on the coast called Mojacar Playa.

Europe's only desert is found in Almería, and is part of the National Park of Sierra Nevada (in the Sierra Nevada mountain range), which it shares with Granada province.
The desert landscape and climate that characterizes part of the province have made it an ideal setting for Western films, especially during the 1960s. Because of the demand for these locations, quite a number of Western towns were built near the Desert of Tabernas. Films such as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and A Fistful of Dollars were shot here. Large sections of Lawrence of Arabia and Patton were shot there as well.

The Mojacar / Turre area

Su Casa is just outside the village of Turre, which is 6 minutes from the fishing town of Garruch, and 10 minutes from the beaches, (of Mojacar Playa) restaurants and shops are only a 10 minute walk. There is a family run bakery 5 minutes walk where you can get fantastic local freshly baked bread every morning,

Mojacar Playa with sandy beaches, stretches for 9km beneath the ancient village of Mojacar extending as far as the eye can see in both directions. New developments include restaurants, bars, shops, villas and apartments all tastefully built in keeping with the traditions of the area. Surrounded by the sea on one side and the magnificent mountains of the Sierra Cabrera to the rear Mojacar paints an enchanting picture captured many times by local and visiting artists alike.

Mojácar has more than 3000 hours of sun per year. The medium yearly temperature is around 20 °C. Winter is practically nonexistent, it passes as a long autumn or spring, with the marine temperature higher than the air temperature.

Mojacar Playa is becoming an increasingly popular and sophisticated resort.

Turre is just in land from Mojacar which is easy to find whether you fly in to Almeria, Alicante or Murcia. All three airports are linked to Mojacar by very good dual carriageway roads. We regularly make these journeys in the following times:-

Almeria airport - 100Km - 45 mins by car
Alicante airport - 230Km - 1.45 hrs by car
Murcia San Javier airport - 200 Km - 1.20 hrs by car (new toil road)
