About the home

This is an ideal holiday for family gatherings or groups of 4 - 30 people. Set up as a Luxury Eco Retreat there is the majestic five bedroom finca plus a beautifully designed family house as well as our Moroccan Suite, three cave bedrooms and another double as well as three luxury yurts. This is a holiday where anything you imagine can be catered for, from self catering, B&B or half to full board we have our own chef who uses fresh or organic produce wherever possible. Also available is housekeeping and babysitting facilities, flamenco or salsa dance classes, yoga classes, massage and beauty therapists or your own authentic flamenco show in our amphitheatre whilst eating delicious home cooked paella. We have two beautiful pools, one 18m long, both with underwater seating, ping pong, sky television, wifi, parklike gardens, hammock areas and an abundance of wildlife from tortoises to owls. Nearby are stunning beaches including the Cabo de Gata national park, go-karting, waterparks, horse riding, sailing facilities, restaurants and beach bars.

Beautifully designed interiors, the main finca has 3 indoor dining areas, a games room, 4 sitting rooms and one large kitchen with doors onto its terrace with pool and dining area. By the pool bar there is dining space for at least 18 people. The pool house has one main bedroom with a bed sitting room and kitchen... all of the rooms have private terraces and gardens. There is a stunning Moroccan Suite with its own sitting room and four further bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms as well as three luxury yurts. Being off grid there is no sound or light pollution... There is a dojo containing a running machine and free weights, a tiki bar and pool bar where drinks are available. There is an amphitheatre and plenty of outdoor daybeds and relaxing areas whilst the children are running around exploring the fantastic gardens.

The gardens are extensive and parklike with stunning views and a huge variety of specimen trees from all over the world. We produce our own olive oil and jams. There is a variety of wildlife, a cactus garden, a citrus garden, a tortoise garden and an olive grove to name but a few. There is plenty of shade or sun and a beautiful amphitheatre.
Full of colour and hidden areas the gardens are heavenly with spectacular views.

The Costa de Almeria region

Almeria is a fascinating region, steeped in history and boasting glorious weather all year round... Many of the spaghetti westerns were filmed at the local Mini Hollywood which has a zoo and park with lots of family activities including a wild west show. Granada is only an hour and a half away with its beautiful arabic old town. There is also caving near Sorbas and some spectacular scenery and walks

The Mojacar area

Mojacar beaches themselves are beautiful and relatively undeveloped with no high rise buildings and plenty of chiringuitos and restaurants to choose from as well as a liely nightlife with dancing until the early hours. Mojacar Pueblo is a whitewashed Moorish town set on a hillside with cobbled streets, artisan shops and wonderful views. There is go-karting, riding, sailing and plenty of activity. Also nearby is Garrucha, a fishing town and port, also with great beaches and a lively nightlife.

“Paradise” Stunning property set in its own estate in beautifully designed and maintained gardens. The main pool is even more beautiful than depicted on the website, and there are quiet shadey corners all over the place to retreat to with a book. I particularly enjoyed having optional housekeeping help, and occasional meals made for us on site. We were so well looked after by Jenny and Craig who are on site Managers. The house was cool airy and stylish - I loved all the beautiful tile work everywhere, and high quality furnishings. This was the most relaxed and lazy holiday I have had for years.

“Beautiful, stylish, & natural surroundings with lush comforts & delicious food.” A stunning place to get away from it all with friends. An oasis of tranquillity & beauty; in traditional Moorish style, and in harmony with its surroundings. Lovely staff, who seem to be always happy, and a wonderful cook. A perfect place to immerse yourself in artistic pursuits. You don't want to leave, but if you do, there are a couple of lovely nearby towns to wander around in; and the beach life in 'downtown' Mojacar is really good fun, with plenty of vibrant restaurants & bars to choose from. The beach is long with white sand. It's good to rent a car.

“Heaven on Earth, an unforgettable place with everything you could ever imagine or dream of.” I fully enjoyed every second of time spent in this amazing retreat, it is like being in a dreamed paradise, beautiful house tastefully decorated and a home like feeling and energy. The gardens are SPECTACULAR you can wonder around for hours just admiring the natural beauy of every corner with blooming flowers and ancient trees all blissfully atracting amazing birds and wildlife. Peaceful, enchanting and completely equipped for any choice of holiday. Wonderful people who run this will see to your every need, I will return.....

“A beautiful retreat, fantastic house and gardens. We loved it.” I went to La Finca Paradiso with my children and another family. It was so lovely. The adults could relax round the pool while the children had loads of space to run around the grounds and garden. The house is beautiful, all the bedrooms are really lovely, and there are a couple of rooms with balconies so you can see the sunset/view at night with a glass of wine. It is a real hideaway gem. I can see that the place can easily be used for bigger groups, and for retreats, but it was a great luxury to just have the whole place to ourselves.
