About the home

This spacious villa is set in its own private grounds with access being gained by a large gravel driveway. A wooden arched doorway leads through to a large courtyard that is bursting with tropical plants.

Within the courtyard you will find a built-in BBQ, seating area and access to the main villa.

You enter the villa into a very large and bright lounge. The lounge has four sets of double French doors leading out onto various terraces including the pool area. The doors on the left take you out onto the side of the property and the pool area. The doors to the right give access to a beautiful vine covered dining area, perfect for Al Fresco dining!

The lounge comes equipped with English TV, DVD player and a stereo but with so much beautiful scenery they won’t be needed!

There is a separate attractive circular dining room with the kitchen leading off from this. The kitchen is modern and comes complete with granite work tops, microwave, toaster, washing machine, fridge freezer, oven, hob etc..

Leading off from the other side of the lounge is the master bedroom which is en-suite with twin sinks, bath with shower over. French doors open to give access to the pool area with fantastic views to the pool and valley from your bed.

The other two bedrooms are accessed via the courtyard. The upstairs bedroom is a large twin room and is also en-suite. This room has double doors out onto a private terrace area overlooking the pool and the valley.

The downstairs bedroom is a twin with double doors that lead out onto the gardens. Next door to the bedroom is a very impressive modern wet room.

Further details outdoors:
There is a good sized pool and terraced area which has a variety of open and covered spaces, which is ideal if the sun gets a little too hot! An array of colourful plants surround the pool area which also has amazing views.

The villa is perfectly located for those wanting a private and secluded getaway yet is still only a 15 minute drive to the historic Moorish village of Mojacar and the sandy shore line of the Mediterranean coast.

The Costa de Almeria region

The region of Almeria is one of the most charming and unspoilt areas in south-eastern Spain. Enjoying the sunniest and warmest climate in the whole of Europe, it is known as ‘El Rincon del Embrujo’ or ‘the corner of enchantment’. This is the real Spain!

Mojacar village is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful
restaurants and bars.

The area has many archaeological sites revealing Phoenician, Roman and Carthaginian histories. Visits to the local markets are very popular: Mojacar on Wednesdays, Garrucha on Fridays and Vera on Saturdays.

The Mojacar / Cortijo Grande area

The Valley of Cortijo Grande has become deservedly famous for its amazing surroundings and profuse vegetation. In the centre of the valley lies the 9 hole golf course flanked by mountains that rise to almost 1000m above sea level. The course itself is a true pleasure to play with the fairways and greens decorated and framed with citrus groves, fig and olive trees.

Cortijo Grande is the perfect location for golfers and non-golfers alike. Relax in the perfect countryside surroundings or take part in the many activities the Valley has to offer, such as horse riding, tennis and hiking over the impressive nature trails that stretch over 100 of acres of unspoilt parkland. And don’t forget, the beautiful beaches of Mojacar are only 15 minutes away!
