Home description

Our Spanish townhouse, situated about 8 minutes' walk from the beach and all amenities is situated on a quiet complex with a large community swimming pool and tennis court. The house has stunning sea and mountain views. There is a breakfast terrace accessed from the dining room a large roof top sun terrace with views of the mediterranean sea & the mountains. Each Bedroom also has its own small balcony and the front door has a small open porch.

The Costa de Almeria region

Mojacar is located in the province of Almeria, in the south east corner of Spain, bordered by the provinces of Granada and Murcia. The Costa de Almeria has the driest and warmest climate in Europe with an average rainfall of 11 inches and average annual sunshine of 320 days. Mojacar and the surrounding area boasts one of the finest coastlines in Spain. The beaches are wonderfully clean and the water crystal clear.

Mojacar has a wide range of restaurants including local Spanish, French, Italian, Indian, Chinese, Thai, North and South American. For self-catering there are a wide range of supermarkets and local shops, as well as the opportunity to buy freshly-landed fish at nearby ports. If you're looking for night clubs, 24 hour pubs & bars and high-rise buildings as far as the eye can see, Mojacar is not the place for you. However, if you're looking for a peaceful, fun, relaxed holiday in an area of outstanding natural beauty that is real Spain, you'll love Mojacar.

The accommodation has all marble floors & consists of a fully equipped kitchen inc fridge/freezer, oven & microwave. There is a downstairs toilet & washbasin, marble winding staicase to upstairs, & a large lounge. The lounge is nicely furnished & has air conditioning, a T.V. DVD player, radio & Sky satelite system. (due to the distance/mountains & weather some channels can be difficult to receive occasionally). The lounge also has an open fireplace and & an attached dining room with patio doors that lead onto the large downstairs terrace. Upstairs there is a full bathroom, two air-conditioned bedrooms, one twin & one king double (each has private balcony with sea and mountain views) . Spiral stairs lead to the extensive private roof terrace with spectacular panoramic views.

Further details outdoors:
The house is situated on a quiet complex with a large community swimming pool and tennis court. These facilities are a 30 second walk from the house. Usually you can park your car right outside of the house, at the height of the season you may have to park further up or down the road, but not usually more than 25 meters away. The more adventurous outdoor people can walk up the hill from the house into the foothills of the mountains. The beach is about 400M away, near enough to walk if its not too hot, far enough away not to disturb the peace & quiet of the area. Along the beach front still within walking distance, are many nice restaurants & beach bars. Some of the restaurants specialise in fish which is landed in the next village (Garrucha) & all of them serve delicious food @ reasonable prices.

Special rates are available for stays of one month or more during January, February, March, November and December 2006 and January, February and March, November and December 2007. Please contact us for further details.
We require a 25% deposit to secure your booking. We also require a £150 fully refundable damage deposit per booking. The balance payment and damage deposit are due 42 days before your arrival date. The £150 damage deposit will be fully refunded within one week of the end you your holiday, assuming no damage has been done.
