About the home

This comfortable two bedroom apartment is located in one of the most tranquil areas to be found on Mojacar Playa. It is situated in a small private two storey block, providing a lovely adult and a children's swimming pool. It has two good sized bedrooms and a spacious balcony.
The property is air conditioned and comprises of 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine.

It is just a five minute stroll to the beautiful beach and many restaurants. There is also a small supermarket within walking distance and is within easy reach of 3 airports. Almeria, Murcia and Alicante.

The Costa de Almeria region

The coast extends 217 kilometres (135 mi) and includes 13 municipalities, from Pulpí on the border with the province of Murcia to Adra on the border with the province of Granada.

Unspoilt and loveable, Costa Almería has idyllic natural attractions. Nature-lovers may in wanton liberty explore the unruffled fishing villages dotting the coast, as well as the invigorating stretch of the fine sandy beaches.

Also great to visit is Sierra Nevada ski resort (3,478 m ).
It is a popular tourist destination, as its high peaks make skiing possible in one of Europe's most southerly ski resorts. In an area along the Mediterranean Sea known for its warm temperatures and abundant sunshine.

The Mojacar / Mojacar Playa area

Spilling down the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera on the South East coast of Spain is the beautiful resort of Mojacar. It is located within an hour’s drive from the provincial capital of Almeria City. Mojacar is split into two distinct areas approximately two kilometres apart; the village (pueblo) and the beach (playa). The combination of both makes Mojacar undoubtedly the most cosmopolitan area in the region.

Mojacar caters for tourism, but it has found a very nice balance between modern tourism and traditional needs. The buildings on Mojacar Playa are all low-rise with architectural styles that reflect the Moorish past of the region.

There are plenty of beaches to choose from. Along the beach front you will find a good variety of beach bars, souvenir shops, shopping outlets and supermarkets, as well as sporting activities such as horse riding, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, scuba diving, golf and lots more.

“Great Location” We were looking for somewhere quiet that was close enough to all the amenities. Los Palmitos ticked all the boxes. Situated between the old hilltop town of Mojacar and the sea it provide us with the ideal base to explore the real Spain. The appartment was clean and spacious and the pool and gardens were lovely. Great for young children too!
