Apartment is set in a quiet sought after development only 5 minutes walk from the beach.
A good local bus service is available for those who do not wish to rent a car or fancy some time off from driving, it will take you anywhere along the playa, up into the village or to the neighbouring fishing town of Garrucha, where you can watch the days catch being auctioned off to local restaurants, ready for your evening meal.

There is a selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment both English & Spanish

There are 4 very good Golf courses nearby, Marina de la Torre being the nearest only 5 minutes by car, there are also several bowling clubs that welcome visitors for a small green fee 1 directly across from the apartment along with tennis courts.

The Costa de Almeria region

Mojacar is an ancient Moorish pueblo (village) perched on the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera Mountains, overlooking the Mediterranean coastline of the Costa de Almeria, known as “The Corner of Enchantment”.
Mojacar Pueblo is visible from many miles away, with distinctive whitewashed cube shaped houses stacked one upon another separated by twisting cobbled streets, winding steps and old arches, providing a surprise around every corner, with its various restaurants, bars and gifts and craft shops. The village has still retained much of its original character and has a colourful history stretching back before the Moors were evicted from Spain in the 15 th century. To this day the local people re-enact the Moors and Christians battles, in full costume, every June when there are fiestas and festivals held commemorating Mojacar's ancient past.
Mojacar Playa, a stretch of wide sandy beaches awarded the EEC blue flag for cleanliness, offers the typical features of a holiday resort, for both Spanish and foreign visitors. There are a vast range of restaurants and bars catering for every taste and local activities for those seeking adventure, such as water sports, horse riding, diving, quad bike treks, lawn bowls, tennis and golf. There are vast unspoilt areas for walking and mountain ranges for hill walkers or climbers.
