This beautiful quiet apartment is situated in the luxurious Victoria Building which is built into the rock face of Mojacar Village. It has several lifts together with 2 marble staircases and commands some of the best views from the village, both from the apartment itself and from the spectacular roof top swimming pool. There is a large terrace for outdoor dining with sunbeds, table, chairs and sun brolley plus the essential BBQ! The beautiful 'romantic' double bedroom has views of the sea and you can watch the most beautiful sunrises from there! For the energetic the apartment has the benefit of a gym, sauna and jacuzzi. The old village of Mojacar is a only an easy short stroll from the apartment where you can enjoy a drink or lovely meal in the many bars and restaurants - start with the main plaza bars with the most wonderful views down the valley to the sea and mountains! Watching the sunset there is a unforgetable experience! The glorious beach of Mojacar Playa with its extensive restaurants and bars is only a 3 minute drive away , a downhill 20 minute walk or you can simply just take the local very regular bus which costs 1 euro. This apartment has everything needed for that very special holiday - one you will always remember!

The Costa de Almeria region

Mojacar is situated in Costa Almeria on the south east coast of Spain and is just 45mins from Almeria airport. This area of Spain enjoys one of the best climates in Europe with over 3000 hrs of sunshine a year and winters that are almost non-existent.

When foreigners discovered the beauty of Mojacar, the village elders took the decision not to allow the area to develop into another Benidorm or Marbella. You won't find the beach and sea hidden from view from high rise hotels or apartment blocks.This beautiful area remains what is called "The Real Spain".

The area also offers the truly beautiful Cabo de Gata National Park with its empty golden beaches and coves, and miles of nature walks along the cliff tops and valleys.You will see many wild birds, including flamingoes, along your travels and you can sample some of the best fish and traditional paella dishes in the numerous fishing villages.

Excellent and challenging golf courses, such as Valle del Este and Desert Springs, have now been developed in the area offering golfers of all abilities the chance to play their sport all year round on some of the best golf courses in Europe.

Skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains is only 35km away from Granada and just over 2hrs drive from the apartment.This is Europe's most southerly ski venue and the site of the 1996 World Championships. It offers great skiing for all levels of skiers from beginners to advanced.

Mojacar / Mojacar Village area

Mojacar (Corner of Enchantment) is a unique Moorish Spanish white mountain village nestling in the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera mountains. It has many winding cobbled streets enjoying fantastic views of surrounding countryside and the mediterranean coast. Even the spanish people themselves visit Mojacar to soak up the tranquil atmosphere and scenery and are captivated by its charm.You need never leave the village as it boasts many restaurants, bars and shops. However, nearby you can also enjoy various activities including sea sports, riding, the water slide park, fishing, bowling and of course the many fabulous golf courses.

The beach resort of Mojacar Playa offers more bars and restaurants and a good selection of supermarkets plus excellent night life/discos. The village bus runs from near the apartment every 30mins, taking you to the sea in under 5 mins.

There are many Fiestas held in Mojacar throughout the year which add to the spectacle of this enchanting village, especially the unforgetable Moors and Christians festival in June.

Basked in sun all day long, Mojacar stands proud on the mountain face, awaiting the most beautiful sunsets which can be enjoyed from the roof top swimming pool or the village plaza whilst enjoying a cool evening drink!

How to get there

Daily flights to Almeria ( approx 45mins from apartment) from Gatwick ,Birmingham,Stanstead,Exeter,Manchester,Glasgow and Belfast with Airtours,Easyjet,Thompsons,Flybe,Ryanair etc.
Daily flights from Stanstead,Gatwick,Luton,Manchester,Southampton and Bournemouth to either Alicante or Murcia ( approx 2 hrs from apartment) via Easyjet,Monarch,Flybe,Air2000,Thompson and other airlines including BA & Iberia.
Don'y forget to take out travel Insurance for medical needs and theft.
The drive from all the Airports is very easy as Mojacar is just off the main E15 motorway.

This well appointed apartment has the luxury of full air-con and heating.The view from the lounge, through the patio doors is absolutely stunning, you could spend all day just sitting on the sofa looking at it!

The well equipped kitchen has everything you need with excellent quality fitments and plenty of wine glasses!
Listen to music by candle light and watch all the lights of the valley gradualy come on in the evening, a magical sight!

We now also have satelite TV with all UK channels.....if you need a break from the sun!

The large bathroom has a power shower and the room is beautifully tiled with marble and granite wall to wall.

Further details outdoors:
The roof terrace swimming pool really needs to be seen to be believed, with 360 degree views over to the sea, the mountains and the beautiful white village of Mojacar! It is never very busy even at peak holiday times. You can relax on one of the many sun beds provided and soak up the spanish sunshine, or shade yourself from the mid-day sun under one of the huge brolleys. The pool has water jets at one end which keeps it cool in the hot summer and provides great fun for the children.

If you feel the need for excercise, the gym is always available plus there is a lovely Sauna and Jacuzzi for all the guests to use. A new modern Jazz Bar is only a short stroll away as are the many restaurants and bars !

The Gym, Sauna, Jacuzzi are available for use most days of the week, all the year round.
