An extremely spacious and elegant first floor apartment with the "wow" factor in the prestigious re-developed Holm Park, a grade 'B' listed building. This imposing former Victorian villa stands on an elevated site with splendid views over the attractive Victorian spa town of Moffat and towards the Moffat hills.

Original features are combined with serious modern comforts.There are two large bedrooms - the double with an ensuite. The second bedroom, which has twin beds, can be used as a sitting room. The 24-feet long drawing room offers impressive views from the large bay window and has a good quality sofa bed, which sleeps two. To help you to relax there is a large modern TV and a hard drive recorder, plus a music system and ipod docking station.

The 16-feet fitted kitchen is equipped with cooker, fridge, freezer, washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave. The bathroom is stylishly tiled and includes an over-bath shower. There is gas central heating, dedicated private car parking and a covered area for cycles.

If the apartment looks more like a home than a holiday let, that's because it is the owners' home in Scotland and consequently was furnished and equipped with an attention to detail.

The Villa is a an eight-minute stroll from Moffat's attractive centre, which offers a variety of shops, restaurants, hotels, bars, cafes and teashops. There are facilities for golfers and anglers, while the beautiful Dumfries and Galloway countryside is a haven for walkers, cyclists and bird watchers. Moffat Golf Club, which boasts some truly magnificent views, is a few minutes drive away.

Moffat is about a mile from junction 15 of the M74 – which is a continuation of the M6 - and just 30 miles over the border, making the town well placed for exploring both the attractions of the region and further north. It is the gateway to some of the most spectacular countryside in Dumfries and Galloway, which boasts over 200 miles of coastline, rolling hills, moorland, forest, mountain and river. The Devil's Beef Tub, The Selkirk Valley, the Grey Mare's Tail waterfall and the Wamphray Glen are just a few of the natural beauty spots a short drive away and ancient historical sites are scattered throughout the region. Moffat is also within easy travelling distance of the glorious Solway Coast – an area teeming with birdlife. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both about 50 miles away
