This 18th Century, stone-built, detached property is situated in the small community of Llanallgo on the Isle of Anglesey. This wonderful property was visited by Charles Dickens in 1859, the Rooms of which are later referred to in his popular book, 'The Uncommercial Traveller'.

This charming house provides impressive accommodation and boasts Indian stone floors a galleried landing and a stylish living room and conservatory. There is also an exceptionally fine fitted kitchen with a range style cooker. Able to sleep twelve people across five bedrooms, this property is ideal for large families, groups of friends or two smaller families looking to holiday together. Nearby, the village of Moelfre boasts a range of amenities and activities, ideal for a fun-packed vacation.

The North Wales / Snowdonia / Anglesey region

Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls. Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales’ highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway.

Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat. In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe. You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast.


Moelfre area

Boasting little cottages, a picturesque port, a beach and fine views of Snowdonia, Moelfre is a delightful seaside village situated on the beautiful east coast of Anglesey. This charming little holiday spot also boasts a working lifeboat and two quality pubs serving excellent food. Why not take a boat trip around the coast and enjoy fishing or watching sea birds, seals and even dolphins?

Or perhaps you would enjoy a visit to the hugely popular local Seawatch Centre and cliff-top walks with stunning mountain views? With stunning sandy beaches at nearby Benllech and Lligwy and the miles of open sand at Red Wharf Bay, this area is excellent for birdwatching.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low'and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks'(LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'Low', 'Mid', 'High', 'Peak', 'Xmas' and 'New Year' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

"Although the location is on a main road, from an interior point-of-view, this is a spectacular house and merits the highest star grade in terms of space, decor, design and finish. As a group, we have hired similar priced cottages every year for the last 12 years and we all agreed that this was as good as the best, if not the very best, we've had.
