Downstairs is a lounge / dining room with the cosy log burner as a centre piece. There are plenty of books, DVDs, walking maps, and board games along with a HD Freeview TV / DVD / VCR and a PS2 (for vintage gamers) to keep all entertained.

The dining room faces onto the rear garden containing the south facing terrace with its large bench seat and table a popular destination for our guests to catch some rays and indulge in out-door lunches, dinners and basking in the aromas of freshly grilled food from the Webber charcoal barbecue.

Upstairs is a newly fitted bathroom (with electric shower) and three bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, one a single and one a bunk bed with a single on top and double (full mattress) on the bottom to give lots of flexibility re sleeping arrangements. In the rear bedroom is a TV with built in DVD player (just for DVD watching) giving some privacy for members of your party who'd like some time on their own.

The landing window gives a perfect portrait view of the bay and mountain ranges beyond as does the gable window in the single bedroom, perfect places to perch with your "wake up" mug of coffee or tea.

We have off road parking in front of the house (a scarcity in Moelfre) for two cars or a car / jetski combination and for our more organised guests the good news is that Tesco in Bangor will do a home delivery timed for just after your arrival.

Further details outdoors

Bryn Meirion's south facing patio with views over Moelfre's picture postcard bay with its large picnic table and bench seats is where most of our guests spend the bulk of their time basking in the fresh air and sunshine. Its not uncommon for guests to have breakfast, lunch and dinner outside basking in the aromas of freshly grilled food from the Webber charcoal barbeque, idylic !

"Great location, comfy and cosy ..a relaxing place to stay."

We have a lovely few days in Moelfre. Accommodation was good, clean and well kitted out. Roomy for us-a family of five. The views from the house and garden were great. Walks straight from the house with lots to do on the island.A charming village.

"Perfect for our needs"

My husband and I stayed at Bryn Meirion for a week at the beginning of June. We chose this rental because of its location and amenities and were not disappointed on either count. A very short walk down the hill brings you to the waterfront and coastal path as well as the tea shop, pub, etc. So convenient! The house itself was scrupulously clean and provisioned with all the amenities that you would want in a home away from home (a big pasta pan was the only thing we missed). The garden area in back overlooking the water is beautiful and a perfect spot to relax and have a drink or a snack. The owners and caretakers were friendly and accommodating even when we called to ask if arriving earlier than we'd planned would be okay (it was). We had a great time and wished we didn't have to leave so soon. Thank you for providing such a special place to spend our time in Wales. Plus, we will always wonder how the seagull chicks that hatched on the next roof over (seen out one of the kitchen windows) are faring. What a treat to witness those three little fluffballs!

You'll be pleased to here the chicks have grown from strength ! We like Bryn Meirion to be as comfortable, clean and as complete as we'd expect from a holiday home ourselves. These combined with a perfect position makes for a lovely holiday.

"Excellent property in a beautiful location"

We have just returned from a fabulous week staying at this lovely property. It is very comfortable and everything you could wish for is provided. The garden and seating area were fully used as the sun shone for the whole week and the view from the garden over the sea to the mountains of Snowdonia was spectacular. You can relax immediately. The agents only being next door was very good and they are both really friendly and helpful. I can recommend the fish and chip shop and Anns Pantry in Moelfre as well as The Old Boathouse at Red Wharf Bay if you want a break from cooking. Hope to be back next year.

Its nice to hear you had a lovely visit, We are lucky to have views over the sea to Snowdonia with our guests taking full advantage of the sunny patio all day long.

"Fabulous cottage, ideal for family holiday"

We had a wonderful week at the cottage, couldn't have been better. Wonderful location, great for evening walks along the coast path, watching the sun set and dolphins in the sea. Near to beaches and attractions on the island.
Well equipped house with everything you need, lots of space for a family. Downstairs loo very handy!!
Best views from the garden and front bedroom. Lovely to sit in the garden with a glass of wine and watch the sea.
Parking great, really easy.
Loved staying there, Moelfre is such a lovely place, pub, chippy, beach, gift shop and post office/shop.
The guide book could do with a little updating e.g. doesn't mention the Waitrose on the island, but this is a very minor point.

Thanks for your comments, being able to spot dolphins made your holiday extra special ! Bryn Meirion is fortunate to benefit from an excellent location, the patio's south facing sea views provide a perfect backdrop to sit back and relax. With the coast paths being just outside and our parking (which is scarce in Moelfre) make for a hassle free holiday location.

Beautiful cottage, beautiful location.. Could not have asked for a nicer place to stay .. Every thing was lovely, clean and organised to a very high standard. The views from the cottage garden patio are to die for !! Generous amount of logs supplied for the lovely burner which was much appreciated.. We love Moelfre and have stayed in local hotels before but am so glad we chose this little gem as we were able totally relax for a few days and enjoy the peace and quiet of this wonderful part of the world. We will be back !!

Thanks for your feedback and lovely comments. We work hard to provide a high standard of accommodation for our guests, from the log basket full on arrival and the sea views waiting for them from the private south facing patio. See you soon.

"Lovely cottage, perfect village location, cosy log burning stove"

We enjoyed a great week in this lovely, clean, comfortable, well equipped house. The log burning stove was a really nice feature. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Great communication from the owners beforehand. Helpful and friendly neighbours who act as agents. Lovely garden with fantastic sea view from patio. Good off road parking. Fabulous central village location. An easy stroll to local amenities - newsagent/general store, pub, cafe, chippy (new owners, gorgeous fish and chips). Wonderful coastal walks virtually from the front door. Lots of info provided, maps etc.

Thanks for your positive comments. I'm pleased you found the information we provided useful, we really want our guests to get the most out of their stay. The location is special meaning you can leave the car on the drive all week if you'd like.
