The bungalow is a home from home, with easy access, and within only a few minutes walk to the centre of the quaint fishing village of Moelfre with its beautiful shingle beach, and only a few miles drive from Benllech and Red Wharf Bay with its glorious sandy beach. Lligwy beach is another vast sandy beach only a couple of miles in the other direction.The bungalow is located in a cul de sac of just 3 properties, ideal for couples and families of all ages, and provides off road parking.

A great retreat from which to explore the sites and attractions of the island by car or join the coastal path just minutes away for a bracing stroll. With a convenience store just across the road, The Kinmel Arms, Beach Cafe, Anne's Pantry and Twn Pen Stryd Gift Shop within a few minutes walk around Moelfre Bay, and The Sea Watch Centre and Lifeboat Station just a little further.

We are child friendly, with a trampoline and a range of indoor activities, chess, dominoes, connect 4, monopoly, scrabble, playing cards etc. The rear patio garden provides a secluded and relaxing space and is not directly overlooked.

With flexible sleeping accommodation, we offer the Master bedroom with Kingsize bed and ensuite shower room, a twin bedded room to the rear of the property and a Triple Sleeper (double bed with single above), which could even accommodate our travel cot or your own travel cot, if required.

All linen and towels are included in the rental price, along with all electricity and gas.

There is free wifi / broadband at the property for guests use.

The property is strictly no smoking indoors.

We welcome well behaved pets only, for a small charge.

The canopied entrance to the property takes you into the main hallway, from which all the other rooms branch off. There is a spacious yet cosy lounge with comfortable seating for 7 guests, with 40" large screen TV, Freeview channels and DVD player. Free wifi / broadband available. The dining room off the lounge, has leather high back chairs at a solid oak table. A highchair is also provided.

The modern well equipped kitchen offers double oven, grill, microwave, toaster, toasted sandwich maker, large fridge freezer and washer/dryer. The retro serving hatch opens to the dining room.

The family bathroom provides bath with shower over, as well as ensuite shower room to the main bedroom. Bedrooms 1 & 3 are overlooking the front of the property, with bedroom 2 at the rear.

All bed linen and cotton towels are provided and are included in the rental price, as is gas and electricity.

The property is one of three within the cul de sac Swn yr Afon, with garden to all sides. The ramp path leads from the driveway to the front door, for easy access. Parking comfortably for 2 cars (1 on driveway & 1 to front of house). The rear garden offers a patio area (refurbished November 2014) and Summer house and is securely fenced, great for sitting out on warm evening or eating al fresco. Leaving plenty of room for the children to play.

For 1 week stays the arrival day would generally be a Saturday, however subject to dates and availability Friday to Friday can be arranged. We also offer weekend breaks, Friday to Monday and midweek breaks, Monday to Friday. (min 3 night stay)

1 well behaved dog is welcome for a small charge. All dogs must be kept off furniture and bedding.

The North Wales region

The picturesque Isle of Anglesey, is located at the North West tip of Wales, linked to the mainland by the Suspension bridge and the Britannia bridge across the Straits. It has an abundance of Sandy beaches, rocky coastline and a coastal path making it a walkers paradise. The island is steeped in Maritime History and is very proud of its Lifeboat Heroes, the most famous being Dic Evans of Moelfre.

Anglesey has a prevailing South Westerly wind and is the driest county in Wales. It also has the greatest proportion of lowlands than any other, with the highest point being Holyhead Mountain at just 720ft.

There are so many things to do and places to visit throughout the Island, you will be spoilt for choice. From Fishing, Cycling, Watersports & Horseriding to visiting the Sea Zoo, the Model Village or Foel Farm Park, to name but a few. It is also home to the longest place name in Britain, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrngrobwllllantysiliogogogochuchaf. (Llanfairwyll for short!)

Moelfre

The former fishing village of Moelfre lies on the East Coast of Anglesey and really is as quaint as a picture postcard. Moelfre Bay is the heart of the village, and its amenities include a Convenience Store/Newsagents, Laura Caban Beach Cafe, Ann's Pantry and Twn Pen Stryd Gift Shop,as well as Helens Wool Shop. The Kinmel Arms serves great food and ales and is perfectly placed to have a relaxing drink or two and watch the sun go down over the Bay.

Moelfre is just a few miles from the village of Benllech, with 3 large convenience stores. It also has a petrol station, post office, fish & chip shop, a selection of independent shops, as well as several places to eat and a beautiful Sandy beach.

Every year in July/August Moelfre hosts its own Free open Air Music Festival, which takes place on the green opposite the Kinmel Arms. This has something for all with a bit of Rock & Pop, as well as some of the Oldies!

Within the community there is also a fenced play area specifically for the under 10's, including swings and slides. Moelfre is also one of the few villages to have an all weather five a side football pitch and tennis courts, open to all ages.

A great location to relax and take in the surroundings and an ideal base to explore what the rest of Island has to offer.

"Perfect getaway"

Spent a wonderful weekend at the Stepping stones cottage with my partner. The cottage was clean and cosy and in a perfect location for exploring the east coast of Anglesey and the Lligwy Ruins. We really enjoyed going to the local pub the 'kinmel arms' for something to eat and a few drink in the evening (The curries are delish). We will defiantly be booking again!! x

"Lovely clean, and well fitted out bungalow, ideal for family holiday"

We had a short (4 day) stay at this bungalow and were very impressed with all it had to offer. 3 nice bedrooms, ideal for us, our daughter and husband and 2 grandsons - not forgetting the dog. Allowing a dog is a massive bonus in our eyes. It was well provided for and we found it very comfortable and ideally situated for the eastern side of Angelsey - not that it's too far to travel all over.
A handily located fish and chip shop 2 minutes walk away (very good too) and a couple of nice pubs and eating places nearby.
Would recommend and consider going there again if we wanted to be in that area.

Since your stay we have completely replaced the fence at the back, put locks on the gates, and replaced the trampoline with a brand new one including netting.
