"Very pleasant cottage in a beautiful peaceful location."

Tyn y Mynydd is a very pleasant cottage in a beatiful location on Anglesey. The cottage was very clean on our arrival. It is very well furnished and equipped. There are two pleasant sitting rooms and two bathrooms. It is ideal for families. There is a very good walk up the nearby mountain from the front door. The nearest beach is only about 10 minutes away by car. The beach is ideal for children. At the back of the cottage is a (well fenced) field with two ponies, ducks and a ram. The children enjoyed this rural location.
Access was via a 'rough track'. It was a little difficult to locate a first, but the 'satnav' got us the the door.

"Lovely cottage with the best view on Anglesey 100 yards from the front door"

The cottage is on a hillside in a stunning location. It is perfect if you like to get away from it all, although it is situated at the top of a rough track and you need a car to get there. You can walk on to the moors from the front door. It is well equipped and spacious and was great for our family holiday. There are toys and DVDs for children which is useful when the weather is bad (it is Anglesey so you cannot take the weather for granted!) We had barbecues three nights on the patio overlooking fields and hills which was lovely. The kitchen is well equipped (but space was a bit tight for 8 people and a baby on rainy days) and there isn't a dishwasher. The main bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and our 4 children were fine in the third bedroom. There are excellent beaches - sandy, rocky, small, large - and cliff walks within a 10 minute drive. There are good pubs and restaurants and takeaways in the local area. So all in all, there is a great holiday to be had.
